We enjoyed this and so did the kids. They have adult only and kid only racing so the skills don’t interfere with each other. Our kids had fun. Our 6 years old. Stopped early. The helmets are a little heavy. Hard to breathe and hot. She was not ready. The boys had a great time. The downside is there quite a wait in between races. They of course have arcade. And food and snack. Etc.
Note: don’t over buy races in advance Most people walk out with unused credits. As usual in Vegas the house wins.

It you like speed this is your place. My group had a great time. FYI adults racing is separate from kids race, my husband was disappointment not be able to join the kiddos. Also after the original package is over you can purchase more races $10

Thanks so much for the review and happy to hear that your group had fun! FYI - if it's not too busy, we do allow family members to race with the kids; just ask at the front desk! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Took my son and ran a couple of races. Good time but keep in mind, these are not toys! If your child does not have experience driving a gokart this is not the place to learn. The carts go approximately 45. Saw a kid go thru the wall and another get slammed because they just stopped in the middle of a turn. Look up Brandon at the front desk. Did a great job with setting up a shuttle both ways and having us ready to go the minute we walked in.

My sister, myself and our husbands visited your Las Vegas location on Sunday, July 14th. This was a part of our trip we were looking forward to. We paid our admission and waited until we were called for our turn. I believe there was a small party of 4 before us and a party of 2 that came after us. After the party of 2, a TV crew came in with a gentleman and a couple of girls. We watched as they put on the red suits (several times for re-takes), filmed introductions with the local staff, and then made their way over to the pit. As we watched them put helmets on and off, watch the pit video, etc., we realized that we (paying customers) were going to get bumped out of our turn for this "celebrity." Come to find out, the gentleman was last years world poker player runner up ..... no one in my opinion worthy of bumping paying customers. I feel that if the staff came to us and said something, perhaps asked if we would mind waiting, I wouldn't be so upset. When we asked for a refund, we had to wait for "John" to come over (from the TV crew) to refund us. No apology was given, nothing at all. We spent time in a cab, $25 for cab fare there, and $25 cab fare back, plus the time waiting. I am very disappointed in our experience. I will not be afraid to share this will anyone else either. I hope you realize that you are in a tourist town, and those paying customers were the ones keeping your doors open, as the no one we spoke to while we were waiting were locals.

Janet, I apologize for the issue you experienced. I received your complaint directly and responded directly to you. Bottom line, we messed up and you got delayed but I will make it right with you; I wish you had given me the chance to respond directly to your letter before going nuclear on important review sights like Trip Advisor. We are human. We make mistakes, but if you give me the chance, I will do the right thing always. You have my contact information in your email. Was in town this past weekend and thought we'd take in some racing. We've raced at the Frisco location and it sucked, but we thought maybe this location would be better. These Pole Position people don't have a clue how to treat their customers and this guy who claims to be an owner or whatever, is a top notch jerk. The front wheel of my kart flew off and they refused to give me another race because it was the last lap. We asked for the manager and was told he was off. There are much better go kart tracks in the country than this place. Should have read the reviews on this dump before we wasted our money. Their karts are pure junk and look like that have millions of miles on them. Save your money for gambling. Oh and who ever owns this place, read what your manager Mr. Brad is saying to your customers...FIRE HIM !!!!

Nothing like we imagined !
This place is a dirty, stinky warehouse.
The price of racing is extremely overpriced for what you get. We paid $31 per race and might have been on the track for 5 minutes.
My son got spun out in the back corner and sat there for about a minute.
Which is a long time when each lap takes about 25 seconds. I had to pull over and tell the track guy that my son was stuck. Come on kid do your job, my son was a sitting duck waiting to get smashed into by other carts flying by. By the time the race was over my son did 4 laps, alot less than the 12 laps advertised!
After the race I questioned the kid about his response time to the situation and told him I wanted to talk to a manager.
He told me he'd call the manager "but the manager isn't going to do anything"
WOW.....WHAT?
$125 for 4 of us to race........
I talked to the manager and explained the situation....his response was "yeah things happen". He then offered all of us another race for a discount.
LOL, yeah right dump out more money for an already bad experience!
My suggestion to Pole Position is train your employess!
The customer service sucks! And the prices are ridiculous.
My suggestion to customers is save yourself the money, time, and frustration by not visiting this dump!
Pleanty of other things to do in Las Vegas
that offer an amazing experience.
Pole Position should be on the list of things to avoid in Las Vegas!

Want a twelve lap race? $30 please!
And don't try bringing a coupon. They'll come up with some restriction that makes it invalid.
This place is mildly entertaining but WAY too expensive and the people that work here are ridiculous. Totally not worth it. Most angering, to me, is that they control the karts wirelessly so if for some reason the race marshal doesn't like you (or is friends with one of the other racers) he or she can slow your kart to a CRAWL to let the other racers pass you. It's completely bogus and the young 20-somethings love to abuse this power and laugh about it amongst themselves when they stop your car almost each one of your $2.50 laps.
Save your money. If you need to race, go to Fast Lap.

I think many people see the value of fun and clean racing. You are only ever slowed down if you are endangering yourself or other racers…pretty reasonable I'd suggest. If you like staying at a flea-bag hotel then you'll fit right in at Fastlap. The only way you could get their carts to go fast is to drop them off a building; which would be the best thing for those relics!

My wife and I went there on a Sunday afternoon. Signed up, payed and waited for our turn, there were two other people in our group. While waiting for the other few races to get over we see that two young kids in their teens showed up with their own helmets. I joked that they must come here often, then the wife got nervous as the were added to our group. I said no big deal there is to be no ramming of carts and that it was all about time. We got started racing and I was doing my own race against the clock and I noticed that she was being lapped. After the race she was visibly upset and said that the one kid had rammed her twice after she had gotten over for him to pass and the other kid ran her into the wall. The rules strictly state no bumping of cars. The staff didn't care, we complained to the girl at the counter who said she would say something to the kids, I sought that really did any good if she even said anything. We left and I decided I'd call to speak with the manager, well I had to leave a message and low and behold no call. That was a week ago, so plenty of time to call me.
I understand that on busy days they can't control who goes in what groups, but this seemed like a slow time and those kids did not need to be in our group or the staff could have asked if we wanted experienced drivers in our group. Or the staff could have followed there own rules and slowed down the kids cars when they were ramming my wife.
Save your money and go elsewhere in Vegas, such a poor experience.

Marcy,
Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. I'm sorry that you had to go to Trip Advisor to tell about your experience as your message never got to me. I take your comments very seriously and appreciate your business. You are correct in that sometimes the bumping does happen. We try to insure that everyone has a great time and most importantly a safe time but it is racing so we do our best to help insure everyone enjoys the experience. I ALWAYS have a manager on duty. I truly wish that you'd spoken to our manager or that the young lady that you talked with at the front desk had referred you to our manager on duty; I can only assume our staff didn't get the understanding of your dissatisfaction. If you look at all of our ratings on Trip Advisor you can see two things: #1 we have a great rating. #2 we're not perfect.
I apologize that the experience you received at the track was not what we expect or what you expected. If you'll contact me directly, I'd like to make it up to you. Please call me anytime. My personal cell phone is 702-994-1862 and I will make it right!
I look forward to speaking with you at your convenience.

We googled this attraction beforehand to find out the prices. When we got there it was much higher. They tried to say it was because this was a different location. I’ve checked a few times since and they price listed is always different.
The carts are fun and challenging. There was a big crash when we were there. But I definitely didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth.
