I was under the impression that our wedding coordinator would be there in person to give us the consultation. Instead, we had to deal with a very bossy, condescending woman that I had to argue with about things I had paid for. We were not told to pick up the extra tux by anyone and she acted like that was our fault. She acted like we were a major inconvenience on her time and like she was in charge, even though we were the ones who paid over $1k for our wedding!
As far as our ceremony went, when I booked the bridal suite and first glance service, never was I told that there was no bridal suite at the venue and that I'd be getting dressed in a fake diner! I had to argue with the consult lady to get dressed in a diner! I paid for a bridal suite and got a diner. Not cool at all. I was also not told that our wedding venue was in the parking lot of a Super 8. I wish I would have been told that before booking. The pictures did not show this at all. I would have booked a different venue. I was also not happy with my "lavender" flowers. They weren't lavender at all, but more of a burgundy, reddish, pink. Our limo driver was also late by 15 minutes, which gave me alot less time to get ready in the fake diner. I felt very rushed to get in my dress and have pictures taken in time. We felt the worst part of the experience was the 19% service charge. This should have included the "tips and gratuities," or so it says. We did not like, on top of that 19%, being expected to tip the limo driver, minister, photographer, and videographer! We did not have that extra money to shell out! We were not told till after the ceremony that we needed to tip the photographer or videographer. We had no extra money on us at the time so we couldn't tip them, but for what photos are going to cost us, we never felt the need.
I will say there were some positives in this. We liked the British lady who helped us coordinate, the minister, and the photographer. We loved the photographer! She was a sweet lady! The ceremony was very sweet and we loved the lights in the gazebo.

We are disheartened to hear about your experience at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel (our sister property) and will address your criticisms with the staff. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your thoughts - so we can improve our services moving forward. Truly, we are grateful you chose to exchange your vows in the Boulevard Gazebo and wish you many blessing in your new life journey.

I got married at the terrace gazebo. Ceremony was supposed to be at 10pm. I found out the morning of my wedding that their computer had “canceled” my wedding. Only because I called them for a question. I had family from all over the country fly out. I had been planning with them for 6 months prior. They rescheduled for the same day but for 10am. I was pissed I wanted all the lights and it to be dark and romantic. Luckily all our family was already in town. Except the best man. So my husband couldn’t have his best man even there because they “canceled” it. They were so rude to me about everything. I only ended up getting the packs of 9 photos on the disc, because the photographer took mostly photos of my husband, and we were to going to pay extra for unprofessional looking photos. If I was in them I was off to the side. The man who married us was very nice. We gave him the maximum amount for him to do everything else for us. We still have yet to get our marriage license even though we filed our correct paperwork. They never filed their side is what the county said when I called them. It was supposed to be the day of my dreams. I couldn’t even get my make up professionally done because I had to cancel that appointment because 7:00pm clearly wasn’t going to cut it for a now 10am wedding. The only good part about that day was I “married“ my best friend even though it’s still not valid because they didn’t file. I wasn’t going to write a bad review but the fact that this still haunts me. They ruined what was supposed to be the best day of my life.

Although we are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate wedding experience, upon reviewing your comments, I believe you must be commenting on the wrong business. Our Terrace Gazebo packages come with a minimum of 11 images on a flash drive, and, as a business with over 15 years in the industry, we are meticulous about filing all of our paperwork in a timely manner. However, if I am mistaken, I would certainly like to hear your feedback in more detail so we can address your concerns. You can reach me at whitney@vegasweddings.com. Thank you.

They said that the are essential and covid wouldn’t shut them down. Court houses where still going to be open and we would still be able to get married. That was all a lie. Called court house they shut down. Vegas shut down everything. Meaning they weren’t essential. After making the drive a day before our wedding had to drive back and plan a wedding in a day in our home town. We were told we would get a refund for our wedding. Then they are saying we can reschedule it within a year free of charge. (We already are married) They change their answers every time I try talking to management and try getting a refund. The whole process of planning the wedding was rough too. No communication at all between planners and us we waited months to hear back.

We totally understand your frustration regarding the messaging surrounding COVID-19, and we're so sorry you drove all the way to Vegas only to be disappointed. On Tuesday, March 17th, Governor Sisolak gave a press conference in which he deemed weddings an essential business. We immediately sent out notification to inform our couples. However, the very next day, the Marriage License Bureau announced that they were closing their doors, essentially prohibiting us from performing weddings despite being deemed an essential business the previous day. We understand your frustration, as our company and staff experienced it as well. We would like to be totally honest with you regarding the slow communication you received as well as confusing messaging. We were forced to furlough 80% of our staff, and with hundreds of understandably concerned couples and only a few staff working part-time, it was a challenge to respond in the manner typical of our small, family-run business. Although our contract stipulates no refunds, we wanted to do everything we could for our couples considering the difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, after being closed for over two months and unable to generate any revenue, refunds were not an option, but we decided to give every couple up to five years to use their funds towards a vow renewal, photo shoot, or other retail items. You may also gift your wedding funds to another couple of your choosing. We are so sorry for the impact COVID-19 has had on so many couples like yourself. It is simply heartbreaking, and despite the circumstances, we humbly request you return to Las Vegas when it is convenient for you so we can share the hospitality of our small, family-run business with you.

Shannon the wedding planner contacted me immediately, she was up front about everything, handled any questions or concerns I had, spoke with my mom, sent me emails and text also called. The staff was amazing, the first driver called me hours before to inform me of the time he would arrive for pick up, the hair and make up artist arrived early very punctual, the ceremony was short and sweet. The minister gave me a little talk about what was going to happen throughout the ceremony moments before our gazebo wedding and the photographer took amazing pictures and was great.

The Terrace Gazebo was perfect for our tiny wedding. Just the groom and I went to Vegas for this. We paid extra to have the bridal suite and I loved this because he didn't see me until I walked down the aisle. Rickey helped me out so much by getting me ready, and Sunny took some awesome pictures. My favorite part was that Pampered Brides sent 2 girls to make me feel beautiful. Sylvia done my makeup and Kat perfected my hair. These girls made me feel gorgeous. HIGHLY recommend them, they knew exactly what they were doing! My experience would not have been the same without them. Kat done exactly what I asked for on my hair and that's not an easy job. So thankful for this experience.

Vegas Wedding was a dream come true! Everyone was so helpful and polite. We did not solely work with one employee. We had a coordinator (who was in constant contact), the limo driver, the reverend, the photographer, and a group of about 5 who took care of us on our wedding day. We booked the terrace gazebo which is a cheaper option of theirs but it is so incredibly gorgeous!! Getting married during COVID-19 has definitely been an experience but Vegas Weddings made everything extremely easy!
Only negatives were the photos and video recording. Our photos were not touched up. The brightness in the photos was very bright so when I printed the photos you could barely see their facial features. Also there were portions when the groom was blocked from the video, like the videographers fingers were in the way.
Overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Vegas Weddings to anyone looking to marry in Las Vegas!

Our wedding was amazing, they did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Making arrangements from Texas was so easy and stress free (aside from the pandemic issues of course). Our guests both in person and watching the live feed are still talking about the ceremony and chapel 3 weeks later.

Your wedding day is something you dream of. You spend a lot of time, money and energy to prepare for the big day. I did a lot of research before picking this business. Unfortunately, it didn’t end so beautifully. We went to be fitted for our gown and tux, and had even bought the upgraded package. My husbands tux didn’t fit, the alterations were horrendous. The shoes falling apart on the bottom, and shoe laces fraying so bad they were ready to snap. The dress was never altered, and it was obvious in the photos. Half the dresses to pick from were stained, torn, and just not in good shape. His pants were hemmed incorrectly, I’ll attach photos. When we arrived I mentioned this to two people upstairs, he mentioned it to the people at the front counter, and my mom also mentioned it needed to be fixed. It wasn’t. And it may be a small thing- however, I paid to upgrade my flowers to lavender for the color. But both men’s flowers, were pink. Then came the photos, 15 candid were included. I couldn’t even pick 15 that looked semi decent, even zoomed in photos of my chest which only proved how ill fitting things were. To “make up for” the fact that the tux was horrid, they “included” all candid photos for free, yet I didn’t even want the 15 I had already paid for. So to try and somewhat salvage a few decent posed photos we ended up spending an additional 600- which I would have been fine paying, had I not wasted hundreds on a tux that looked like it came from the Salvation Army. The communication back and forth was confusing at best- with my consultant saying all photos for free poses included, to then being told 2 photos for free. Even after I paid for all of the photos, they sent another incorrect email stating they sent them in color, sepia, and enhancements (which they did not), followed by another email telling me to disregard. All in all, you are herded like cattle in and out and feel like you wasted your money. I’ll include photos attached.

My husband and I decided to renew our wedding vows during our vacation in Las Vegas. After reviewing different venues and their packages, we decided to go with Vegas Weddings and could not have been more pleased! Our consultant, Whitney, was on top of getting all the necessary paperwork to us and so helpful in making the arrangements including a pre-ceremony consultation and arranging for the photographer, and setting up transportation by limo to and from our hotel.

We chose to have our ceremony with a small group of friends on the Terrace Gazebo and could not have asked for a better location. It was beautiful and intimate. The minister - we went with Elvis of course - was wonderful! In addition to being a consummate Elvis impersonator, he also performed a beautiful ceremony.

Finally, Jessica, the photographer, was just amazing! She had great ideas for poses and was wonderful about catching candid moments on film that were just lovely.

I highly recommend Vegas Weddings for your wedding ceremony and vow renewal!

Your words are amazing and will be shared with our staff and photographer (Jessica). We get a lot of reviews about her skill and creativity. Whitney is "on it" and truly passionate about what she does, as is all of our team! We especially LOVE the Terrace Gazebo in the fall. Our Elvis is not only a fantastic performer, but earnest in his words to our couples - we are thankful we have him and are genuinely pleased you enjoyed him as much as we do. Thank you for sharing your story, and recommendation. We hope to see you two again, and wish you many days of happiness and laughter on your journey together.

My husband and I were looking for a simple, inexpensive civil ceremony with a bit more flare than a courthouse. Vegas weddings offered a drive-thru ceremony which we thought sounded super unique. Our contact ("wedding planer") Dimi was very communicative and overall the company does a good job of guiding you through the preparation steps. We were already happy with that process.

On wedding day, our minister, Roger Bennett, was very friendly and informative. He asked questions to ensure our ceremony was tailored to our specific wants re religion, vows, etc and he did an amazing job. We felt very comfortable with him. His words were so beautifully touching and just perfect for us!

I highly recommend Vegas Weddings if you're going to get married in a small Vegas chapel. The fact that they have mini ceremony spaces ("suites") as well as the drive-though wedding tunnel are awesome features for an affordable LV wedding. And of course they have photography and other venues available as well... And my new hubby and I both suggest you request Reverend Roger Bennett for any type of ceremony there. He really made our simple day so special.=)
