We did the Sunday brunch cruise. We had a reserved table with a wonderful breakfast/brunch buffet. Champaigne glass was kept full, as was juice, coffee, and water. The food was great, much better than I had expected to get. The cruise to the Hoover Dam was enjoyable, great weather and great sightseeing. View of the Hoover Dam and the new bridge was beautiful. These folks do a great job. I would recommend it.

We booked this trip in the Uk last minute and were a bit apprehensive after having read some of the other reviews but were really pleased with the end result.

The trip, booked with Viator.com but undertaken with Airbridge Tours was excellent value for money. We were picked up right outside our hotel, Circus Circus, earlier than arranged, and after a couple of other stops we then did a photo stop at the Las Vegas sign. Then it was on to Lake Mead, approx. 45 mins away.

At the boat, they take the obligatory photo whilst you are getting on which is ready for you to purchase, should you wish, on your return. There was no sales pressure

We were allocated our own table for two, and the waitress came and took our order. We got garlic bread, then salad, then soup, the main course (of which there is a choice of chicken/beef/salmon/pasta) and then chocolate or carrot cake for dessert.

It was lovely just to sit for a couple of hours, with a drink in hand enjoying dinner leaving the bustle of Vegas behind.

Due to the time of year, it was just getting dark when we got to the dam so the return trip was in darkness. The staff worked extremely hard throughout the trip.

Then it was back on the coach, and we got dropped off back to our hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different night out whilst in Vegas

While it was a hot windy day, the dinner cruise was a bit cooler and the boat gave us a very smooth ride! They take you very close to the dam, and the scenery to get there and back is very relaxing. The food was so-so, I had the chicken Marsala with mushroom sauce. Never saw a mushroom. Sauce was a bit sweet. Mashed potatoes needed gravy or butter. Husband had salmon. A bit dry, needed a sauce. But hey, we went for the ride and it did not disappoint!! Would go again.

We just returned from Las Vegas with the extended family. We purchased tickets for a Lake Mead dinner cruise through Best Las Vegas tours, also marketed as All Las Vegas tours. It was a disappointing experience. The trip is clearly described as a "sunset cruise"..."Watch as the setting sun bathes the surrounding mountains in red and gold!" We were given a pick up time at our hotel of 4:35. The shuttle pick up was over 45 minutes late. It then took us to their depot location to transfer into another bus. We waited there another 15 minutes. When we arrived at Lake Mead it was already dark - no view at all. The site also advertises "no hidden extras". On the boat there were cards on the table that stated "gratuities not included" and the bus driver made a lengthy plea for tips on the ride home. In addition, the bus driver was obnoxious and inappropriate. Interesting enough, I sent an email to the tour company when I returned. After waiting 3 days and no response I sent a subsequent email stating that since they had not responded I would be posting my comments on Trip Advisor. Only then did I receive a snippy response that I was not being reasonable. I would not recommend this activity to others.

We read the great reviews on this tour and was anxious to experience it. However, we sat on the shuttle bus for 2 hours and then 1 hour on the bus that took us to the boat. We had no time for pictures as the boat left at 6:30 which was the exact time we arrived. The meal was not as expected. The potatoes and vegetables were cold and two in my party had the prime rib which they could not even cut nor eat. Even though another one was offered, there was not enough time to eat it as the boat was heading back to the dock. Between the 3 hrs on the buses and the disappointing meal, we would not recommend this tour especially for the cost of it. Hope you have better luck if you choose it.

Had been planned for months. Thought it would be a nice thing to do what in Vegas. The cruise was smooth however the meals service is slow. I could cook better than this. They said that gratuity was included in the price however we had to tip the service staff and the bus driver as well. These fees are hidden and should have been explained to us better. I feel the cruise was not worth it. I feel let down now. Could wait to get off the boat and go back to the hotel.

Everything about the trip was professional and great value. The pick up was on time and the driver really friendly and informative. The food on board was excellent and all staff courteous and really helpful. Seeing the Hoover dam and the sunset was inspiring. We would definitely do this trip again and we have already recommended the trip to friends who are going to Vegas in November. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The actual cruise on www.lakemeadcruises.com was very nice. Good food, great service, spectacular views.

Getting there totally sucked. We booked on www.viator.com/tours/Las-Vegas/Lake-Mead-Dinner-Cruise who uses http://www.airbridgetours.com/ to get you there. This part of the trip totally sucked. It is only a 5 hour tour if you are staying near the MGM. We were staying downtown - got picked up at 3:45 and did not get back until after 10 PM! We called and asked if we could just show up at the boat - we wanted to drive there and stop along the way, but we were told that we need to be on the bus or lose our reservation with no refund. As we were not asking for any money back, this did not make any sense. We talked with Airbridge and Viator and could not get anyone to make this work.

The trip out there on June 2, was not enjoyable at all. The bus driver tried to keep us entertained but has only been in Las Vegas for two years and her "presentation" skills need a lot of work. She should learn more about the area other than how many Walmarts there are if she wants to keep us entertained.

Take the cruise, but rent a car for a day and enjor the ride. You are paying over $30 per person for the bus ride - not worth it!

We booked ourself through the Lake Mead Cruises website. No problems at all. This was one of the best evenings ever (couldn't hurt that it was our wedding anniversary and we had renewed our vows that morning) the views were awesome.

Dinner was pretty good, not the greatest but for the entire price and the overall happiness it was good (we had the prime rib). I would do it over again in a heartbeat! Go for that special occasion. They announced our names and anniversary, had balloons on our table, it was lovely.

The only thing I regret is not buying the picture they took of us. I thought we would be able to buy via the web when we got home, no one answered me the first time I emailed. The second time I got a respsonse "that they only kept the pics for a week" and it had already been longer since my first message wasn't answered :( would have liked to have had the picture but didn't take extra money because everything was pre-paid for.

If you are visiting Las Vegas the Desert Princess cruise should be first on your to-do list.....It is breathtaking....

There are options available, dinner cruises, lunch cruises, etc. We chose the combined Hoover Dam/ Lake Mead tour. It lasts around 10 hours altogether. With 2 hours at the Hoover Dam and 90 minutes on the cruise. There is a stop at Boulder City airport , for your convenience also.

We used Airbridge as our tour company, which was accessed directly on the strip. We were picked up from our hotel on time with no problems.

Travelling through Boulder city we got a little bit of the history of the surrounding area.
and a two hour stop at the Hoover Dam with a power plant tour included. There are lots of facilities there.

The cruise includes lunch, which you are ready for... The view is amazing a photographers dream ! and of course cruising very close to the Dam.

Don't miss doing this tour it's well worth the money.
