About
VR Adventures is an exciting experience that plunges guests into a three-dimensional virtual world. Guests will put on goggles that Facebook spent 2 billion dollars to develop, and be transported to a virtual reality. Unlike other video games, VR Adventures requires gamers to use hand movement, walk, sidestep or jump to explore or fly through the virtual world.

I’d read good things about this attraction while researching our family trip to Vegas. We had tickets to see Mat Franco at the LINQ hotel and an hour to fill. So when we passed this storefront on our way to the show, we decided to give it a whirl.
My wife, myself and our 14 year old daughter decided on the Dino rafting adventure. After all, there was an actual raft to ride in and the people on the ride wearing the headsets appeared to be having a good time of it.
There was a lot of forms to fill out beforehand. I’d say I spent more time signing waivers than I did on the ride itself.
The staff was good about cleaning off the headsets between each change over.
Finally, it was our turn. We climbed into the raft and put on our goggles. The motion ride began before I had the headset properly secured. So at first, the video was blurry. Eventually, it cleared up. And we were zipping along a jungle river, narrowly avoiding dinosaurs and other hazards. The motion felt realistic. The graphics were sharp. And for nearly 5 minutes, it felt like we were in a prehistoric water rollercoaster of some sort. There was no actual water or splashing. Just the jolting of our seats and the tilting of the raft.
The problem is, this ride cost us $75 for only 5 minutes of entertainment. We walked away wondering why we had agreed to spend so much for so little. Perhaps if we’d spent half this amount, we might have felt better about this experience.

This was my first time doing VR. I had a Groupon deal (check there first to save some cash!) I don't know what I was expecting, but I thought it would be longer. Each program was like 5 minutes, and I did two. I did the zombie shooter one, and the haunted house one. Very cheesy, jump-scarey. It was fun but not sure it would be worth the full price. I walked past it like 3 times - it's a little hard to spot.

I was there a few months ago and now they have more simulators which we really loved. I was hoping to buy some Christmas presents but they did only sell 2 products.

So Much Fun! The Haunted Elevator was so much fun, my daughter who hates elevators LOVED IT. The river raft was cool, but if you just ate (which we did) it will make you sick. Worth the stop, especially if you've never done VR.

I am new to VR and this was the coolest thing ever!!!! The price of 20 bucks seemed decent and the second one was only 10! We went around the world and I loved every single second of it. the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

This VR storefront is inconspicuously places between other grander places on the bustling LINQ Promenade. So, if not watching for it you may miss it. It’s small but shouldn’t be missed. We did the Jungle River Rafting and Haunted Elevator (on a second visit).

You sit on the raft right up front of the place. So other waiting customer see all your twitches and lunges, and hear your screams. The best part is when the raft goes over waterfalls!

I think rides are reasonable priced (especially considering that it is Vegas) and I seem to recall a second ride deal. Wish the space was more inviting and comfortable. Other than that... fantastic fun!

The actual VR ride ( rafting adventure ) was very life like and cool, but if you are susceptible to motion sickness, you will suffer the effects. My gf and I both got dizzy and nauseous ( and we're both adventurous- I have a boat, motorcycle, and a jetski.. ). We paid $10 extra for a 'pkg' (2 'rides)'. We told the guy we couldn't do another, ( unless he wanted to risk cleaning up a mess ), and asked for a refund of the $10, and were told no. Not a huge financial issue here, but certainly not right on the establishment's part..and that's why 2 stars.

We did the two “rides” for $30/person special. For the first, I did the zombie shooting which didn’t cause me any motion sickness, but does take some getting used to. My wife did the zipline and freefall “ride” and was a bit nervous, and refused to look down. You can watch the other person’s adventure on the monitor.

The main ride was the Jurassic river raft. This is more of a motion ride with VR. This was far, far the better of the two. You actually sit in a real raft that moves with the ride, while viewing everything through the VR googles. Quite fun, although you don’t/can’t see the other people with you, although you can hear her scream. This one did leave us with a little motion sickness, so I don’t recommend eating before you go. Overall, 3.5 stars.

The elevator was a lot creepier than expected. It was a suggestion by one of the employees when we asked what was super scary.
He wasn't wrong.

It was about 5 minutes in the elevator and $21. Not bad for something you'll keep talking about the rest of the day. I wont give anything away. But DO try out the elevator.
