About
SWEETours has been specializing in tours since 2000. We started with one 15 passenger van and only 300 customers the first year. In 2012 we took more the 42,000 customers to the Grand Canyon South Rim, Grand Canyon West Rim, Hoover Dam, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. We are the number one bus tour company for many main Casinos and Hotels in Las Vegas.SWEETours wants to be known for GREAT customer service. We believe in high quality of service more than capturing the market share. We take care of our customers, one customer at a time. We will pick you up at your hotel of choice and return you after your tour to your hotel. On many of our tours we provide a nice healthy breakfast (such as, a banana, 2 muffins, a granola bar and premium Tropicana Orange Juice) and lunch on certain tours (Check with your agent). Our tour guides are very qualified, our coaches have high-back comfortable seating, air-conditioning, and DVD players and our prices are affordable.

The dam tour was interesting but when we went to the Lake for our lunch cruise there was a sign saying that there were no cruises for the day. The driver/ tour guide Bill, was great under pressure and took us to a couple of other attractions, the memorial bridge and downtown Boulder City. The vehicle was comfortable and the tour wasn’t overbooked so everyone was comfortable and not crowded. We were promised a refund....time will tell.

This was a perfect way for me to see the Grand Canyon. Information provided plus reviews I read left me with a clear idea of what to expect. Others on the tour who had booked with their hotels and not read further, had some issues with the day. But I knew what to expect and Sweetours provided what they advertised. This is a great way to see the Grand Canyon without having to do the long drive from Vegas yourself. The tour guide was very friendly and had great information about the surrounding areas. We had the perfect amount of time at the Grand Canyon that I could go to each sightseeing point and have sufficient time to walk around and see the area. I did the Skywalk and that was a highlight for me. Much cheaper and faster to pre-book with Sweetours. There is quite a long line here, so I was glad I already had a ticket and saved the time of standing in that line. Wow! It is high up there and a little scary to walk on the clear part of the walkway where you can see all the way down. But what a great experience!!! The meals provided by Sweetours were basic but good. They included fresh fruit, a good sandwich for lunch, and plenty of water for the day. I appreciated the brown bag lunch so that I could enjoy my lunch with a beautiful view at the canyon. Great day and a great tour! We did land up waiting about an hour and a half on the last people to show up for the bus ride home. This was expressed in most reviews I read so I came prepared. Others on our bus were missing out on shows and activities they had already booked for the time we were scheduled to return. So make sure you leave time in your day for returning later than scheduled.

This was a great tour! Bill was right on time with pickup. A light breakfast was provided immediately upon boarding, which was super convenient for the 8am departure time. Bill gave really interesting background and info about the history of the Vegas strip, Boulder City and the Hoover Dam during our travels. There were 3 stops (including the Hoover Dam itself) that had ample time to see the sights and walk around. When the tour wrapped (on time!) I was dropped off back at my hotel. Definitely an enjoyable, well run tour of the Hoover Dam, especially if you’re staying on the strip and need transportation!

We went here for a tour with sweetours (see other review). After scanning in and being ushered through a large gift shop, you then had to scan in again to get on the bus for the first bus to the skywalk. The queue was quite long, but the bus was running around every 15 mins so only had to wait around 25mins to get on a bus. Fortunately it was under cover so shaded from the sun!. Once at the stop we headed over to the skywalk the queue seemed to stretch around the block. Some of it under cover, some not. We had to queue about one and a half hours before finally getting into the building. Then, just when you think the queuing is over, there was another really long queue inside. Fortunately it was air conditioned and there were some native Indian artefacts to look at to break up the boredom a bit. When we finally got to the front, we were ordered to remove all loose items and phone and place them into the locker. Phones or any kind of recording equipment are not allowed on the walk, apparently for safety and security reasons, I personally believe it’s because they have their own photographers, so want to make as much cash off you as possible. The staff ushering you onto the walk were frankly quite rude. The walk itself was terrifying, and when you are trying just to walk round and get off the other side, it’s a bit annoying people keep stopping you and asking if you want your photo taken. I think the price we paid for the amount of time spent queuing were not worth it. I also think it could be included in the price of the tour or entry fees. I think if you are here to take in the views of the canyon you are probably best skipping this walk and spend your time taking in the views.

Just got back from Vegas and took a bus tour to the Grand Canyon and a helicopter ride down into the canyon where we were able to get out, take phots and enjoy the view. DO NOT take the the tour sponsored by Sweetours. Maverick Helicopter service was great. Pilot was professional and made sure we had time to take photos. HOWEVER, I did not have time to take the shuttle around the park to the two viewing stations and get lunch. I missed seeing the last viewing station altogether....and that was the most scenic. After my helicopter ride, I raced to the shuttle station. (I'm a 79 year old). There were 150 people in line in front of me to catch the shuttle from the parking lot to the first viewing station. I had to wait to get on the third shuttle. When I got to the first viewing point (Eagle Point) , I literally ran to the rim, took a picture of the rock that looked like and Eagle , then got in line to get my food which took 40 min. I then waited for the next shuttle to take me to Guano Point, but by the time everyone got on the bus and we got to Guano it was too late for me to get off the shuttle and still have time get to the parking lot at the appointed time, so I didn't get off the shuttle. When the advertisement says you will be on the rim for 2 1/2 hours, it doesn't mean you will be viewing the canyon from the rim for that amount of time. That time includes standing in lines and shuttling around the rim. Find another way to get to the Grand Canyon to fly in or, I would now have spent the money and flown from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. (We were told that there was no restaurant open at Guano Point by the shuttle driver). I will say our bus driver to the park was friendly and quite knowledgable about the area.

I did the South Rim tour in June 2024 with Earl as the driver and tour guide. It was all fantastic! Along the way Earl would tell us facts about the places we were driving through and was so knowledgeable! We went beside the Hoover Dam, stopped in Seligman, AZ, and then made it to the Grand Canyon. He dropped the group of six of us off at Mather Point and gave us a little over three hours to make it to the Bright Angel Lodge pickup point. It gave us a good amount of time to stop and take pictures or just take in the view along the 2.5 mile walk between the two points. The weather was wonderful and it wasn't very crowded on the Monday we went.

We were on a mini bus that did not include a bathroom, but he gave us plenty of stops with enough time at each one. Lunch was already ready and was a boxed lunch from Subway along the way. Dinner was not included, but we stopped somewhere on the way back to Vegas that had a Subway if someone wanted a sandwich. It is a long day, but we'll worth it.

Overall I would highly recommend the South Rim tour with Sweetours and especially with Mr. Earl as your guide and driver.

We did the Hoover Dam tour for half a day, our driver Bill was amazing. He shared all he knew about the area and kept the audience interested. Will recommend this tour company. On time, nice and courteous staff and we had a great time.

We booked this tour thru our hotel concierge, what a great trip.A smaller shuttle bus picked us up in front of our hotel and then brought us to the bus depot and we were given a breakfast box and coffee or water. We stopped at the Hoover Dam for pictures, then we stopped in a small town in Arizona on Route 66,fun stop. Then we stopped at a service plaza in Arizona and we were given our lunch boxes(we had chose our sandwich at booking) then on to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We chose to take the shuttle bus to the walk way and we took great pictures and we were just blown away by the whole thing. Our tour guy Wally was very informative and helpful with planning our time so we could get the most done.Wally was a nice bonus to a great trip.We were highly recommend this tour. It is an all day event and you will not get back till night but so worth it. Wally chose a movie for us and some music, really enjoyable trip.

I booked the tour to Grand Canyon South rim. Sweet tours reached out to me and informed that there was not enough people for that particular trip. They asked me to go to West rim , But my plans were to go to South rim so Sweet tour connected me with National Park company and issued a refund in a timely manner . What a pleasant customer oriented service . Excelense in every situation . I had a great experience and clear communication . Thank you !

VERY MISLEADING description of tour information. I booked an 11+ hour trip, but barely got 3 hours at the Grand Canyon itself. Yes, the bus did stop very briefly at the Hoover Dam as indicated on the description. The bus ended up stopping twice for bathroom breaks at a convenience store (not needed as there was a bathroom on the bus).

Our tour guide on the bus, Shaaron, was okay. She was all about personal experiences, however if your interests weren't like hers, then didn't help much. She was "rushy" and caused unnecessary anxiety immediately before the Canyon with her "do this" / "don't do this" form with throwing information at us. It was hard to keep track of the information going into the Canyon experience and caused a lot of anxiety of meeting time deadlines.

The worst part of the trip is that at the end the bus stopped at EVERY single hotel/casino on the strip for drop offs. It would have been better and much more reasonable to have 4 or 5 drops throughout the strip where multiple hotels got off at a central location.

Perhaps if we didn't stop multiple times and at the end, we could have had another hour at the Grand Canyon instead.
