Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first...

Vegas Indoor Skydiving, formerly known as Flyaway, operates America’s first indoor skydiving facility built in 1982. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving guests will earn their wings and experience bodyflight during a simulated skydive experience in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The experience is similar to skydiving with the addition of a mesh trampoline floor and foam padded walls. Guests are able to simulate the freefall aspect of skydiving without the use of an airplane or parachute. Our mission is to provide a safe and memorable indoor skydiving experience to the general public, understanding that everyone will learn and grow at different rates, adapting to the ability of the flyer, and to encourage their development by sharing our love and knowledge of flight. We use a vertical wind tunnel to introduce guests to the sport of indoor skydiving. The tunnel produces enough wind to support the weight of an average adult. At Vegas Indoor Skydiving, each flyer will attend a brief training class, suit up in all the necessary flight gear, then jump in the tunnel and fly. The entire experience will take about an hour. The wind tunnel itself is about 22 feet high from the trampoline floor to the top net. The whole tunnel is 12 feet across. The fan is a DC3 propeller that is powered by a 1200 hp electric motor.

My 25 year old daughter is an adrenaline junkie, always looking for new and exciting things to try. This is an expensive activity for the time you actually get to 'dive'. However, the set-up is professional, with good equipment, good pre-dive preparation and safety controls, led by instructors that are enthusiastic and friendly, in a premises with good facilities, so you can appreciate that your money is buying more than just a few minutes air time. The actual... More

The Indoor skydiving experience started at the door. We were greeted and weighed to ensure our safety. All good. We stored all our lose objects from our pockets and went up to training school. Video and Waivers and then off to get dresses up. Then ready for the Fan. Everything about the experience was interesting mainly because of our Leader/Guide... More

Thank you for the wonderful review! We are glad your flight instructor was able to show you a good time. Sometimes, you need to be reminded on relaxing your body and letting the wind take flow. Once you do that, you can really enjoy the flight. We have discounted pricing on different packages, if you want that extra bit of... More

We had 8 people to fly so they split us into two groups of 4. We did the 30 minute package. All instructions are very easy to understand and follow and if you follow what the guide is telling you, you will have a great time. We had Rob and he was a lot of fun and able to communicate... More

Highly recommended. Visited as part of my bachelor party and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We were looking for a fun and affordable activity before going out to the clubs and Vegas Indoor Skydiving was the perfect choice. The instructors are great. I can't wait to return.
