    Must see in Vegas
Went up to the viewing platform on a lovely sunny day for the brilliant views. Did not attempt any of the rides. Nice fast lifts. There are indoor and outdoor areas. A nice bar indoors where you can sit and watch the daredevils leaping off the tower. Well worth a visit

Absolutely amazing views day and of course night. An absolute must do!
Jaw dropping views of the whole of Vegas. Looks amazing day and of course night. The view of the strip with many landmarks easily visible is a sight to behold. Overwhelming. Hundreds of pictures and videos to record. Above is scary rides involving being dropped in a lift or a short rollercoaster that appears to go off the edge and stops just in time. Too much for me. Couldn’t contemplate the extreme drops off the top that you can do from here too. Note it can be cold at night so bring something to keep you warm. Great lower level inside with bar, cafe and shop with comfortable seats and the same views behind glass. Elevators work well and there are a few to get you up and down plus stairs for the last few levels. Easy to get to once in Strat Hotel. After a security check then it is up to the top. A must do in Vegas!

Cool 360 degree view of Vegas and the area
Really neat view of Vegas from one of the tallest buildings west of the Mississippi. There are plenty of windows to look through, and touchscreens around the room identify landmarks you see. You can go outside and walk most of the way around and use the pay-binoculars on posts if you want (take quarters). Take all the time you want. If you decide to arrive by monorail, you will have to walk for 10 minutes or so in a rougher part of town.

    Great views
The views really are amazing and I liked that there were areas to sit and enjoy a drink and a snack if you weren’t dining in the restaurant. The staff were all very nice here too and the lift attendant very conscientious. Well worth a visit

    Best view over Las Vegas
We went to the observation desk to see the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. You can see the boulevard and many sites from a different perspective. Even the surrounding desert and rock formation can be seen. We didn't go for the rollercoaster but it's surely exciting. Worth a visit!

Ok certain Vegas hotel have " their must do item" The Strat has its 360 tower views, after dark is great, I recently went on 2out of 3 outside rides ( one was down for routine inspection 👁️👁️👍, My personal fav was Big-Shot. The sky jump is a separate ticket. You can purchase a all day/evening pass for the outside rides and enjoy them till 10pm

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are better rooms for better prices up and down the strip. The view from the tower at night was amazing but you have to pay to go up there even though you are staying at the hotel. They charged resort fees even though nothing was different than any other hotel.
Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It's through comments like yours that we can address and rectify areas where we may fall short. Fantastic views and ice cream.
The view from up there is amazing. We went outside to look around but liked it better inside. We sat around looking at the views for ages and had ice cream while we were up there. Nice little gift shop up there and you could get a cocktail up there if you wanted. Really pleased we went up there. Highly recommended.
Dear Esteemed Guest, I hope this message finds you in great spirits. Stunning views
A great view from the top. We went in the evening, just as the sun was going down. No queues, plenty of space at the top. Great views across the city, and great that you can go outside as well (and watch all the mad people who are doing the rides/jumps). You can park on the road not far from the strat for free.

    Most amazing wedding reception.
Firstly, we didn’t stay at this hotel, we stayed at the mgm grand, however I really wish we had stayed at the stratosphere, as all the staff was so friendly. We did though, have my daughters wedding reception there in the twilight room which is right at the top of the strat. It was amazing! The room was beautifully set up, the food was fantastic, the views phenomenal, but what really made it was the staff. The wait staff were so professional, polite and friendly, but the barman, and I’m ashamed to have not got his name was excellent so friendly, and he certainly knew how to poor a drink! He was fast and efficient and there was no queuing for drinks. The manager saw everything ran so smoothly. It was such a fantastic day. Thank you so much stratos. The wedding was 24th April at 6pm young/forsyth wedding, I hope you can tell the barman how brilliant we thought he was.

The signage and instructions for the sky pod are terrible. Wasn’t sure where to go to buy tickets. Ended up at the ticket counter above the box office. Luckily we could buy tickets there as the line was shorter than the box office. People - make up your minds as to what you want as you’re standing in line. Nothing more frustrating than waiting on you. Questions I get but seriously, do some research so we’re not waiting on you. Decided on the view alone, no rides as I’m a little chicken about heights. The double elevator thing is cool where you ride in one car and there’s one either above or below you so they can fit more people on one ride. The view from the enclosed in area is cool except the windows break up the view. The interactive boards make it fun to try to identify things even though they’re too far to see. Still fun. And there are bars and a snack bar available if you want something. Sofas and chairs to sit on. Pretty comfy. The top deck offers a better view. And they have the pay for a view binocular things if you want to zoom in on areas. $0.50 in quarters only. There was a weird smell the day we went so we didn’t hang out long. Is this a must do! No. But if you have $20-25 extra and want to look at Vegas from up high, it’s cool. Fri and weekends cost more. Look for coupons in the tourist mags.

Been here before maybe 10 years ago. This time took my son along as he had never been to Vegas. All the girls stayed downstairs and gambled. The walk to get to the Stratosphere is long inside the casino. Buy your tickets before you get to security or you will be sent back down and have to wait in line again. Security is like going through the airport. So travel light if possible leave packages and purses in the room if staying here. Once through security you walk around until you come to an end of the walkway. Not clear what to do after that a lot of people turned around and went back the other way seemed to be lost. Sign on elevator says it's automatic no call button it just shows up when the elevator comes down. So just be patience and wait. Once at the top the views are inspiring. We did not continue on up to the rides up on the outside. We did get to witness one soul jumping off the building at night. Very scary to witness firsthand. I would never do it even thou it's safe just not my cup of tea.If your in Vegas it's a MUST SEE event.

The staff at the ticket counter and security was very nice and pleasant. The remaining staff we encountered lacks luster and excitement. We were hoping for a little info on the way up, we were pretty tightly squeezed in with a lot of people, it was a quick, shaky ride up, once off the interior needs updating. The bartender was not thrilled to be working and was short and rude. He did make a good margarita, I do not recommend the premixed daiquiri’s, the mix is terrible and it costs $18, not worth it. The view is amazing, bring quarters if you want to look through the telescopes, there is a snack bar at the top with typical bar food, there is also a convenience store, priced pretty typical to other Vegas prices, nice selection. We went on a Sunday at noon, no wait for tickets or to go up, very limited wait to go down. The surrounding area is not great, the property needs to be renovated and revitalizes.

We paid for the observation deck and unlimited ride package for $45. It's a bit pricey considering it's 3 rides, but we spent a couple hours during the day and came back for a couple hours to do it again at night. With the unlimited package you can ride as many times as you want. My favorite was the Big Shot ride, but I recommend all 3 of them if you're a thrill seeker.

The tower is still the tower. If you're not subject to a fear of heights or motion sickness, it's a must-see. The views are spectacular. I'm not a thrill-seeker so I did not take any of the rides. They are, even in my thrill-seeker husband's opinion, far too pricey for what you get. The rest of the hotel still needs a lot of work. The shops are in flux and many storefronts are empty. I'd recommend giving them another 6 months or so to complete their renovation and rebranding before checking them out.

My husband and I go to Las Vagas at least 2x a year. Each time we stay at a new hotel for a new experience. This stay was horrible our stay was from Fri-Mon. We arrived at asked if we could upgrade to a sweet. We paid extra arrived and as it was late we unpacked and went to the casino walked around went back to the room and slept. Woke up with horrible headaches, couldn't understand why, we didn't drink the night before. Decided to head out while getting ready when I noticed the floor soaked by the spa tub and wet all the way into the living room. Changed my soaked socks and thought maybe the previous people spilled the tub over. Left for a l dinner and came back around 6pm and room was still a mess housekeeping never came. Called front desk and they said someone would come up while we were out at a reserved show. Came back later in the night no one came to clean the room, and floor still wet and the smell of sewage or mildew was worse. Husband said he will call in the am. Next morning woke up massive headaches, Husband got a bloody nose. Smelt like sewage now and i refused to continue being in there. Called house keeping in which they said would send a house keeper and maintenance . Maintenance arrived said there was a broken pipe under the spa tub and didn't now how long it been like that but long enough for odor to develope and im sure the seweage was under the tub. He got on his line and called the front desk they said they would put us in another sweet. Even with that i was still upset so I called furious as our room didn't get clean until that Sunday evening, mIantence found sewegr and broken pipe leak i let them ko it was unacceptable. At that time we were moved rooms do to the leaking sewage pipe. We were put in the same type sweet but higher floor. We were leaving in the morning at 7am so at this point it didn't matter. Instead of comping us the 2 nights in the ratchet room. They waived the $41 resort fees$120.00 which we paid way more to up grade. Everything else was great. Restaurant, casino and the top of the casino. As for the hotel room worst experience in our 17 years of Las Vegas. Will never go back.

Seeing sunrise a the top of The Stratosphere was fabulous. My teenagers loved it too and we stayed up there for quite a while and had drinks at 108 bar which had comfy seats all around with floor to ceiling windows for a spectacular view. You get close to seeing all the people do the crazy rides too which is fun if your not quite brave enough to go on them! It was a reasonable cost to go up the tower and defintely worth it. The tower including the main entrance, restrooms and bars etc were all lovely and clean. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we all enjoyed visiting The Strat and would highliy recommend it to anyone wondering if its worth the visit, it most certainly is.

The Strat always impresses! Their newly remodeled check in area on the main floor is so much more accessible than when it was on the second level. We upgraded to a newly remodeled room which had a fridge, safe, and coffee maker. Easy walk to the Monorail. The staff is always helpful and the Strat has become our go-to place to stay in Vegas!

We were advised to visit the Stratosphere between 4pm/7pm for happy hour! So, after a short elevator ride to the top, we were greeted by the MOST amazing views of Vegas and the surrounding area. You can see the entire town from up here, awesome. We stopped for few drinks at different areas and greeted warmly by all members of staff. Friendly, attentive without being over bearing, made our trip up to the top a very pleasant experience. We hung around until the sun went down to witness the view of Vegas after dark. What can I say, it just got even better! At this point we wandered up another level and went outdoors to see the attractions at close hand. I have to say, not for me, you gotta have balls of steel to attempt these for sure! A thoroughly enjoyable three hours spent here, would highly recommend to anybody, even if you don't like heights like myself, it's a must if you're in Vegas.

The Strip is iconic and definitely worth a visit, but Las Vegas needs to do a better job of keeping their city clean. In the cold light of day it's easy to see the grime and residue left behind by thousands of revelers. It would be a worthwhile public investment to make your city sparkle in daylight, as well as at night.
