Behind the wheel of one of our safe, high-performance off-road vehicles, you’ll venture miles away from where cars can travel, seeing the rugged and scenic Southern Nevada desert in a way many never will. Our guides are the best the in the desert, champion off road racers who will share their tips and tricks for mastering the rugged terrain to ensure your tour is both safe and a whole lot of fun! We put your safety and experience first: you’ll receive a full-face helmet equipped with a fresh air circulation system to keep you as cool and dust-free as possible. Bottled water will be provided during your tour and, when you return, you will be greeted with a selection of cold drinks, snacks, a refreshing cool towel to wipe off the dust and a souvenir “swag bag.” To ensure you receive personal attention throughout your tour, we limit our tour sizes to small groups, so it’s always a good idea to book early! Choose from 2 seat vehicles (with 1 or 2 people) or 4 seat vehicles (with 3 or 4).

The tour with desert off road adventures was great! Cant say enough about the quality if service and safety. Helmets provided had an air flow which is fantastic. Keeps your face clean duri g the ride. At each stop they explained about the area and the next driving conditions. The Polaris cars were great to maneuver and, for us, added a sense if safety. The group stays together but you have the ability to drive at your pace. They drive through different terrains, rocky, sand dunes, hills. It was a really great driving experience and we really got to see the dessert and the various terrains. I really recommend this tour for teens and adults.
The tour guides were also fantastic and extremely accommodating to everyone!

Honestly, way better experience than I thought we would have. They served snacks, they served drinks, the riding time was much longer than I expected. The lead instructor was very informative and funny. We got to experience all different types of terrains. Be ready to get a little dusty lol, but it was amazing. I'll be coming back soon!

Listen to the guides and follow their lead, you will have the BEST time out there. Don’t be the one that thinks they know better and flips it.

We had a great time in our adventure. Great guides and the tour was over varying types or terrain. This time of the year makes for perfect weather to enjoy the tour. Five stars and we would do it again. Easy pick up and drop off. Refreshments provided for post tour and a nice disposable towel to get some of the dust off. A few stops along the way give you time to check the views.

Me and my two kids had an amazing time. The guides were very knowledgeable and went over what to expect on the trail. They also give us a history of Vegas and the surrounding area. Let's not forget about the fresh air helmets. Kept you cool and prevented them from fogging up. We wanted to come back the next day but the weather was starting to get bad. Would definitely do it the next time we're in Vegas.

I looked through the various buggy experiences and settled on the 3 hour tour. It was AWESOME!
Started slow, climbing some hills and rolling down, getting used to the buggy. There was a great spot to have a chat and take some photos.
We then moved on to some slightly flatter terrain with pea gravel where we could open it up a bit.
Finally we ended with some sand dunes that were epic, riding them like a snowboard in a half pipe.
At every spot the next stage was explained so you knew what to expect along with some great information about dirt racing.
Highly recommended.

If you want to end your trip to Vegas on a high, then this adventure is a must. I did a lot searching for the best off road experience and found Desert off Road. From the first contact whilst I was still in London, I knew my daughter and I were going to be in safe hands. I made a mistake with my booking and thought I'd booked a Sunday. I got a call 2 days before from our pick up, saying she was almost there. When I asked if we could rearrange to the Sunday (like I thought I had booked), she was so kind and said that was no problem.
The RZR's were is excellent condition and such fun to drive. Very bumpy, but very exciting. Kevin and Ryan were amazing, answered all our questions and gave out a lot of local knowledge during our photo stops.
We had an absolute blast. A great rush for any adrenalin junky!!

Travis and Mikey did a fabulous run through the desert!! Highly recommend this experience! Trevor gave us a ride from our hotel and was super interactive on the ride to and from!

My group and I (8) joined Desert Off Road Adventures for a two hour drive through incredibly dangerous terrain on Saturday May 28th. We paid $1500+ for the total cost of the reservation and private party experience.
Unfortunately, after the experience there was a $500 additional charge placed on my credit card without any notice provided from the Company either directly by the staff on Saturday or over email by the business manager. The charge was placed to address 'damages' to one of the vehicles after the drive.
There was an accident during the drive that was entirely accidental and the driver was exercising adequate care of the vehicle at the time, the severe difficulty of the driving course caused the crash to occur, not the driver's fault.
At the time of the crash our friends were fortunately not seriously injured. After this, the vehicle was diligently reviewed by the staff who did not communicate that there was any damage as a result. We came back to the main site with the staff, who we generously gave $100 in gratuity to, who at this time also did not communicate that this charge was going to be placed. The vehicle itself appeared completely fine after the incident, as the tour guide (Ryan) drove it at much quicker speeds than the average person in our group for an additional hour.
This charge is fraudulent and the lack of transparency provided by the Company is entirely unprofessional. I would recommend against using Desert Off Road Adventures

Thank you for the opportunity to host your group and for extending a gratuity to our staff -that says a lot about your tour experience and appears very contradictory to your comments here (so we went ahead and refunded it). All that being said, we respect and accept your review. You made some points that folks who are considering booking with us should absolutely note:
The trail is adventurous -- there are hills and washes and sand dunes -- it is not a loop around flat terrain. This very same trail is used day in and day out by hundreds of guests a month (who do not have any issues) and the fact that it is adventurous and safe at the same time is one of the things our guests love most about our tours. Our safety record and reviews speak for themselves.
As it clearly states in the participation agreement that all guests sign prior to heading out on the tour, if you damage equipment, you will be held financially responsible for the repairs. Taking to the internet to claim a charge is fraudulent is not going to make us back off your obligation to pay for damages. So, if you’re reading this review and considering booking with us, please keep that in mind. We will always be fair and consistent in the application of our policies – also something our guests appreciate.
Lastly and most important for guests considering one of our tours – if you don’t have an exceptional experience with us – please give us a call and ask for one of the owners. We always want to hear legitimate customer feedback and have the opportunity to make things right when needed.

Hello! For the 2 hour tour, it is 2 full hours of driving time. Pick ups usually begin around an hour before each tour. The location is approximately 20-25 minutes from the Strip and you arrive with some time to complete paperwork and be fitted for safety equipment before the tour.l begins. I total, I would allow 3.75-4 hours.

Yes! We offer complimentary pick up and drop off from hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown. If you're booking online via our website, the booking form will ask whether or not you'd like a pick up and then if so, to type in your pick up location. While you will immediately receive a reservation confirmation, pick up details are sent the evening before your tour, usually around 6pm. You can generally plan on pick ups starting about an hour before the scheduled tour start time. Please let us know if you have any additional questions - we hope to see you out on a tour soon!

Hello, we recommend 12 as the minimum age for participants as we do not stock youth size safety equipment - an adult S or XS helmet usually works just fine at this age. In addition to the helmet, participants must sit forward facing and use a standard lap and shoulder safety belt.
