— A must-see while in Vegas! —

It’s sooooo windy up here!!!! (As to be expected) It feels like you can see the entire state of Nevada from Big Shot! Unfortunately, when it gets this windy, they close down Big Shot specifically and only allow the other rides to operate. The ride in my attached photo was by far my favorite. The claw-arm spins you and 7 others out over the entire city.. IMPORTANT: they warn you but still, shoes.. sunglasses.. & phones can plummet to certain death so be careful.

Try to plan on a day that’s not so windy to enjoy the full experience!!

This ride has to be the scariest ones around! The sensations are out of this world. The ride in itself is not the most inventive but put that ride 350 meters up on top of a tower and spinning in the emptyness is not for the weak at heart...or stomach! À faire à tout prix!

My teens wanted to ride this. So scary but they like rides.
They rode the rides while I walked the observation deck. 850 feet high at night - gorgeous views!

So first of all your 800 feet in the air, and you are buckled into a seat and spun in a circle over the edge. I am not a fan of rides that go in circles, so it made me nauseous, but this could appeal to someone that enjoys that kind of thrill

I was very disappointed. I have larger hips and I knew there may be a risk that I may not be able to ride the rides because of it. I called a week ahead of my trip and the employee that answered assured me that it wouldnt be a problem. When I got there with already purchased tickets I was informed that I was too big for the ride and I could not get a refund because I had purchased my tickets from Groupon. I would not have been upset if they had merely answered my question honestly.

We have just returned from a fantastic family trip to California & Las Vegas. Everyone was wonderful except for this experience. My husband wanted to ride the insanity and we had a fun day with our two girls viewing the rides and taking in the views. We had been there a few hours when we came in from the viewing platform on the top floor and the girls wanted a Diet Coke each. I went to the bar and my daughters automatically followed me and relished sitting on the cold bar stools after being outside in the 100 degree heat.

The barman went up to my 13 year old daughter, pointed at her face and said ‘you need to move, you’re under 21, you can’t sit there’ ... I said to ‘okay that’s fine’ and told my children to go to the seated area where I could bring their drinks over.

The barman says ‘no it’s not fine, no kids at the bar I’m calling security’ he then proceeds to use his radio to call security.

Dumbfounded ... seeing as I had no problem telling my children to move, which they did, I asked why he was making a scene. He ignored me, I asked ‘why are you calling security? They moved straight away, without any issue’ he ignored me. By this time everyone at the bar is staring at me like I’m some sort of trouble maker!

I cannot tell you how embarrassing this was for me.

The security lady appears, she’s looking for the problem. There isn’t one and I say to her ‘I think you’re here for me but there was no need for him to make a scene like this’ I explain to her what happened and she too is confused why she has been called.

In the meantime, nasty barman proceeds to throw dirty looks at me across the room. Then appears to talk about us to customers.

Thankfully a lovely gentleman who had witnessed the whole event came over to also defend me and say that I had done nothing wrong, the barman had acted aggressively and inappropriately. The security lady was apologetic for his behaviour and said she had called his boss to speak to me. She asked me to wait. I waited nearly 30 minutes but she didn’t show up and my husband wanted to enjoy his day and go on the rise he had paid for. We decided to leave it there and try and enjoy the rest of the day.

I really hope this bully of a man doesn’t get away with treating customers in this way. On our whole 3 weeks we came across nothing but kind, lovely people. He unfortunately was the absolute opposite and needs to be told how to behave, his attitude and behaviour was disgusting.

I have been wanting to do The Strat rides for years, yet when I knew I would be visiting in September, the thought of this one ride was worrying me sick. I am not a massive fan of spinners, so did not know how I would react on a spinner 1100 feet in the air.

I decided to do it first as soon as I got to the top of the tower, to get it out of the way. There was no queue so walked straight on. The restraints although minimal felt very secure and this did reassure me. As I waited for a few others to load my heart was beating through my chest.

after about 2 minutes they started the ride the initial swing off of the building was fine, but the feeling as the ride started too tilt was very strange. After about 35 seconds you where facing down at the ground and suddenly I realised that was the worst it was going to get and it was not that bad.

At this point I started to genuinely enjoy the ride, to the point that when we started the slow down I was really disappointed,

The ride lasted about 2-3 minutes, the photo's were very expensive after the ride.

But I would advise you to try this if you are a ride enthusiast.

I convinced my friend to do the rides with me. To say she was hesitant is an understatement! But we survived and we loved them! I liked this one the best, the views are spectacular! Although it is a little dizzying because you're spinning so fast and can't focus on anything really. I definitely recommend taking this one for a "spin"!

This must be one of the most thrilling rides I have ever taken. When you get over the edge and look down it just makes your heart pump adrenalin like crazy.
