Be careful what you book. I up graded to a lake view room. The view was mainly a construction site, some golf course and a little lake, Nothing like the hotel photos advertise. I spent an extra $100 for nothing.

All in all the hotel was nice. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the location was great. Its about a 10 min walk to the Gondola at heavenly mountain with gear on. lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. My only complaint would be with the cafe and some of the support staff. I had multiple issues at the cafe with an employee who would spend 5-10 min talking to another employee instead of serving customers. i tried twice this happened twice so i stopped trying. The hot tub was nice and the pool area was clean. Again the staff at signin were... present... we didnt want spa services just to sit in the spa so they disregarded us

Just got back from a 2 night stay, 2/15 - 2/17, The lobby and casino have been updated from the Ceasers days but the rooms have been left untouched. It was the little things that stood out, a room service tray that was left in the hallway our entire stay, surprised at the number of cig butts that were in the planters at the main entrance not to mention numerous empty beer bottles and pop cans. On the upside, great atmosphere in the casino and all the meals were fantastic, at 24, and the Mexican restaurant. The service was wondeful and staff was helpful. Was told that the next phase was to updated rooms which would complete the casino.

Recieved a 250usd cleaning fee. It was totally false, and never required. Accounts department do not respond. Having stayed at Marriot Bonvoy hotels and achieved Gold Status, i will stick with them to avoid being scammed again.

My family a i stayed here for valentines day, upon arrival we were given room "404". As soon as we checked in i just had a feeling that something wasnt right.. i was in the shower and saw legs walking across the bathroom and thought it was my son but my son was sleeping, felt like somebody was watching me the whole time especially in the mirror. I went to sleep and got attacked by paranormal figures, next morning my son asked why is there blood in the bathroom and he is 3 years old, i looked and there was no blood anywhere to be found.... i was so shaken up that we left that very morning.... i kepted googling and searching until i came across other people that had bad experiences as well on the "4th floor" and it all made sense. We came home and the whole family was sick for 2 weeks

Just got back from a three night stay. Have stayed many times as caesars tahoe, so I have somthing to compare. People were very friendly, restaurants good, and the clubs were a nice new addition. Only complaints were that the bell desk was empty a lot, and although the room had a great view, there was several plumbing issues. The jacuzzi tub didn't jaccuzi, and a couple of faucets didn't work at all. All in all, we had a nice stay, they just need a little more time.

The room was nice and clean. We had a huge walk in shower. Every staff person we met was friendly. Mandatory $25 "facility" fee was for free parking and use of pool and gym. Parking is free for everyone as far as I could tell. The pool and gym are absolutely not worth $25 dollars a day. Tried to use the sauna, but that isn't included in the facility fee for some reason.

Stayed here on a Saturday in August for one night. Had the tickets and room package (great deal!).
Ok the lobby is TOTALLY modern, flashy and hip.... venture upstairs to the rooms and you'll see a completely different hotel! Horrible wallpaper decorates the hallways.. (YUCK) After hanging in the lobby you would expect the funky colors to continue up to the rooms.. not so...
My room (938 - a lake view room) had a 1980's hot tub, a HUGE bathroom (2 sinks, huge mirrors, totally 80's!!). Cant complain for the price!
There is a Starbucks in the lobby, the concierge desk assist with airline check in (great for the early AM ride back to RNO)
Had room service - pretty decent food at a decent price.
My room faced the Harrahs hotel and was 'lake view".. lots of construction going on in town..Hotel was ok but there are other options on the highway... I would stay again but would rather check one of the other properies on the highway before coming back.

I can't speak to the rooms, but the Buffet is superior - and reasonable. The wait staff are very efficient and friendly. The casino is clean and nearly smoke free. Try it, you will like it!

stayed tuesday 2/6 thru thursday 2/8, front desk staff was very helpful and extremely friendly, i was only one there so it was a very quick process.. bellman that brought bags to our room didnt stand there and expect a tip, that was a nice treat so it actually felt good to give him a couple bucks... the room was a surprise, on 9th floor, very very clean, bed was great and the bathroom was huge with double sinks and sitting area.. shower was as good as you could ask for and the aveda soaps and shampoos were great.. we spent one day in the spa, a little pricey but the service was very good and it included use of the gym which was a big plus.. they didnt even attempt to get my wife or i to buy a bunch of products and that alone was worth the extra cost.. the pool area is very very nice, all indoors and very relaxing..
the casino was very nice, had a soft smell to it, very pleasant, no smoky or old carpet smells here..
we didnt eat at the mont bleu so i cant review that part
the concierge gave us great suggestions for dinner, he was a great guy, very nice
i would stay at this hotel again, actually, next time im in south lake tahoe i will make sure this is where we stay
