You can only do the Vikingsholm tour by hiking or boat. We couldn't do that, but we loved the Thunderbird lodge. They drive you to the lodge in a bus you pick up from incline Village. We can't imagine that you would be disappointed having gone to the Thunderbird lodge. It's a real treat and a unique experience.
