Visited in early August. The weather was fantastic. We parked in a free lot and walked about 20 minutes to get to Nevada beach. The view from the beach is really fantastic with mountains all around bordering the bright blue water of Lake Tahoe. The sand at the beach is rather course (like very tiny rocks), but generally clean and... More

I was surprised by just how nice a beach this was. I wasn't really expecting sand on a lake beach, high in the mountains. We spent an hour sitting on the beach, enjoying the view and the sun. The day we were there, the sand was so hot you could barely walk on it.

Spent the day on Nevada beach while visiting Stateline, Nevada! Georgeous beach with crystal clear water. Excellent beach for little ones as it is a sandy beach and very few rocky areas. Ample parking if you arrive early in the day. Clean facilities. Great view of the snow top Sierra Nevada mountains across the lake!

You can get to this beach from the campground. We wanted to take a walk so we parked for free and walked about 1.5 miles with our dog on the gorgeous Rabe Meadows Trail. The trail is easy, dog-friendly and leads you down to Nevada Beach, which is also dog-friendly. At one point, the trail forks. If you take the... More

Nevada Beach is a beautiful stretch of beach on a stunningly gorgeous lake. It is a US Forest property and is well maintained. If you are looking for an desolate beach experience, this is not for you .It does get crowded on the weekends so get there early. Weekdays are not as crowded. Even though the parking lot is full... This is a great beach for families. Parking was difficult in a Sunday but while there were many people on the beach, it did not seem crowded because of the amount of space available. There were kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats for rental. Restrooms were available and a concession stand was open. This is a great spot to access... More

This has quite a long stretch of white sanded beach. It has cover eating areas and Bar-B-Qs for public use. There is camping and an RV park available. There was quite a few people on the beach over Memorial Day weekend, but not overly crowded. We were told it is much more crowded over the July 4th holiday. There are... More

Best camping near lake. Lots of dogs running and swimming Great for family camp outs if you are lucky enough to get spots near each other during same dates. Have to book six months ahead yo try to get what you want. Great day site for picnics.

We went to Nevada Beach and went for a walk on the beautiful shore line. We enjoyed seeing the vista views of Lake Tahoe. There is nice picnic areas, including a covered group picnic ground area. There is also a camp ground. The park is well maintained. It is in the Zephyr Cove area of Lake Tahoe.

This is a National Forest Service Park. Great sandy beach lakefront Tahoe swimming for the brave only very cold water. Large covered picnic areas. Unfortunately the NFS closed the park at end of September. The weather is good in October so you can still get to the park and beach but you must walk from street parking. Great bike trails... More
