Hard to imagine a better public beach then this one. You can camp near the casinos, if that's you're thing, and still have easy access to an absolutely enormous natural sand beach. Everybody was kind, the campsites were pristine, and the facilities were spotless. I say yes to this place.

We were visiting Lake Tahoe with our dog and asked about best dog beach close to Stateline and the hotel recommended this beach. It's right off Hwy 50 a mile or so North of Stateline. There's a parking lot with bathrooms and a paved path you can follow to the beach. It's about an hour round trip and a nice... More

Beautiful sandy beach. Clean beach and clear crisp waters. Mountains in the background. Shade from trees and a covered picnic area available. No lifeguards. Went on Sunday in August and it was not very crowded. Small cottage where ice cream and drinks available. Pay parking close in. We parked on street, no problem.

There are picnic tables and BBQs but get there early as they are quickly taken. You can walk forever and the water is calm enough for small children.

Visited in early August. The weather was fantastic. We parked in a free lot and walked about 20 minutes to get to Nevada beach. The view from the beach is really fantastic with mountains all around bordering the bright blue water of Lake Tahoe. The sand at the beach is rather course (like very tiny rocks), but generally clean and... More

I was surprised by just how nice a beach this was. I wasn't really expecting sand on a lake beach, high in the mountains. We spent an hour sitting on the beach, enjoying the view and the sun. The day we were there, the sand was so hot you could barely walk on it.

Spent the day on Nevada beach while visiting Stateline, Nevada! Georgeous beach with crystal clear water. Excellent beach for little ones as it is a sandy beach and very few rocky areas. Ample parking if you arrive early in the day. Clean facilities. Great view of the snow top Sierra Nevada mountains across the lake!

You can get to this beach from the campground. We wanted to take a walk so we parked for free and walked about 1.5 miles with our dog on the gorgeous Rabe Meadows Trail. The trail is easy, dog-friendly and leads you down to Nevada Beach, which is also dog-friendly. At one point, the trail forks. If you take the... More

Nevada Beach is a beautiful stretch of beach on a stunningly gorgeous lake. It is a US Forest property and is well maintained. If you are looking for an desolate beach experience, this is not for you .It does get crowded on the weekends so get there early. Weekdays are not as crowded. Even though the parking lot is full... This is a great beach for families. Parking was difficult in a Sunday but while there were many people on the beach, it did not seem crowded because of the amount of space available. There were kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats for rental. Restrooms were available and a concession stand was open. This is a great spot to access... More
