We spent just a short time here since the weather was not really conducive to relaxing there. I was there to take pictures which turned out terrific. It's a beautiful place and everyone should stop and see it.
We've been traveling to Lake Tahoe from the Bay area for years. But somehow I never entered this great park right on the crystalline turquoise waters of Lake Tahoe. Such a nice walk and there is even a boardwalk nearby at Sand Harbour for those...More
I am visiting Lake Tahoe during the shoulder season between summer and winter and it is very quiet. I think it is a perfect time of the year as it is perfect during the day and cold at night. This park is absolutely beautiful and...More
We took our Service Dogs to Nevada Beach today, although the actual beach was closed for the season, the forest area with trails was not. This is a pristine forest with a paved trail with beautiful meadows, a wet lands area, trailing through the forest...More

I am a cyclist, but we didn’t rent bikes while we were there. There is a place to rent bikes, but I don’t think there is one path that goes around the lake (unless you go on the road with the cars), the other problem will be the temperature and it is quite hilly in places. It was 30’s for lows and 50’s for daytime highs when we were there in early October.
