AMAZING

The trip up in the gondolas $50 per person is well worth a family entire day. The views on the way up and park way at the top was amazing. There is enough to do to stay all day

Great place to visit in the area. Lots of things to do and the lake is very pretty. Can kill a day and it is not expensive at all.

A group of us were attending a conference in Reno and decided to rent a car and take a couple hours for ourselves to check out Lake Tahoe. It took us about an hour to get there and the scenic drive did not disappoint. We then found a free public beach called Hidden Beach that was quiet and had stunning... More

There is so much beauty along this shoreline. The views are constant. You just want to take it all in. The state park is made up of multiple areas to explore and enjoy. We took advantage of Sand Harbor and did not regret it. Other areas like Cave Rock and Spooner look to be great too. Hope to see them... More

We got here in the early afternoon on a hot day, so parking was scarce. Beach access was difficult, but Lake Tahoe is a beautiful site.

We've been to Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park Numerous times. I love the views of the lake from the Nevada side of the lake. We've done some fishing. We've also done some hiking. Its a gorgeous place to be.

Part of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park is the Spooner backcountry including a small lake Spooner Lake. It is on the other side of the road next to Lake Tahoe en is a forest area with a small lake. It is right off Highway 50 on Highway 28. It costs $10 to enter. Best thing is the trail around the... More

This is a fun and easy hike around a quiet peaceful lake. Look for lots of birds and wildlife. The elevation gain is minimal.

We enjoyed our first trip to this beautiful lake! We were pleased to find several free public parking areas. We parked our car and strolled along the lake. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions. We can't wait to go back!
