About 20 mins from the strip. It was 110 degrees the day we went so the Lions kept themselves inside their air conditioned boxes. A few came out and interacted. The girls loved it. If your excepting to see babies, sorry they do not have any. They have 6, 1 year olds that are fun to watch. A 2 yo... More

Have you ever seen 42 lions in the same place? Neither had I. I look forward to going during a time of the year when they're not all suffering from heat prostration. You can feed the giraffe, which is marvelous! And there are birds scattered throughout who make delightful noises when you least expect to hear from them. Looking forward... More

They were very passionate with the lions and very informative.every animal in their looked happy and even the giraffe could paint. It was cool when I heard drumming noises and the volunteer told me that it was the emu. Then we heard a lion call where every lion roar in the habitat

This attraction is great for families of all ages located not too far from the main hotel strip area and is easy to access. There are volunteers and staff members that provide a great deal of information about lions and the history of the property. Most notably are the lion descendants from the years ago MGM lion seen in the... More

It is worth visiting if you've never been up and close to a lion and a great memory to have of one of your kids feeding a giraffe. You don't get to do that often. You also get to see some ostrich. Can I say I'll be back again? Some day but not any time soon.

This is a great place to take children in Vegas. You can drive and park close, no crowds and the kids get to see and even feed the babies. Informative and fun!

We had heard about this ranch that housed the lions that used to be at the MGM Grand Casino and wanted to check it out. All of the lions decided to greet us once we got in the gate which is a little loud. They all settled down once we started to say hello back. They are beautiful animals and... More

This was an okay experience. I love the fact that they are rescuing animals and you see them up close. There are people around to talk about the animals, and make them interact. You can feed the giraffe. I felt sorry for the giraffe. His neck was all gray from the fencing and trying to reach the food. This is a... More

Took my two youngest granddaughters there last year. They both really enjoyed it. I would go in Spring or Winter. It was too hot when we went and it took a lot of the joy out of the experience. Not the Habitat's fault, it is just hot in the desert. That actually is what makes it more realistic. Lots of... More

10 min drive from the strip, you'll find this wonderful home for 43 lions, a giraffe, a couple of ostrich & emus and some exoctic birds. You will be able to get much closer to them than you would at a zoo. We went in May, before they put the cooling boxes out for them and they were all out... More
