We have been to Vegas countless number of times, including multiple trips with kids, but this was the first time we heard about this place. Its location is really easy to miss on the outskirts of Henderson, but when you come in, you are in for a genuine treat! We have never seen so many lions, and especially so close in front of us. The incredibly friendly and knowledgeable stuff showed us how they treat the animal with the care, attention and patience they need and deserve. Seeing other animals, including numerous parrots, a [painting] giraffe and some others, added to the pleasure. Really the only negative thing I have to say about our visit is that paying $10 for a giraffe feeding and then only getting 3 romaine leaves to do that with seemed like a bit of a ripoff... Other than that, I cannot recommend a visit to this place strongly enough, especially for families with kids.

This is the best attraction I have been to in Las Vegas in the 28 years I’ve been going there. I highly recommend paying the extra money to be a part of the backstage experience prior to their daily opening to the public. If that doesn’t fit your budget make sure to come for the daily open times. Thank you so much for this incredible opportunity.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I had a 12 yr with me and she said "it was the best". There is a Giraffe, Ozzie, that follows commands and also paints with his mouth. Staff was super friendly and all proceeds go towards the massive expense of feeding the animals (mostly lions)

Brought my kids here last minute on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed how small and personal it felt. I was expecting heavy crowds and long lines but it was actually pretty calm. We were in and out within an hour. All of the staff was so kind and helpful, especially the young lady that helped us feed the giraffe and one of the ladies in the gift store. If possible, definitely purchase tickets and sign waivers online before entering, makes entering upon arrival much quicker.

You get pretty close to the lions which is fun. There are also add on opportunities to feed the giraffe and lions for an extra fee which is a fun photo opportunity. It's like a mini zoo that's very Lion Centric as there are some other animals emus, ostriches, tortoises etc.

It is amazing seeing these wildlife creatures in Nevada. We had an opportunity to feed Ozzy the Giraffe (for a small fee) and also saw him create some art. The lions starting roaring during the presentation, and it was amazing. This is a Non-profit organization, with volunteers working it, the price is just right for what this organization is doing. This is something you have to experience in life. A must do in Las Vegas!

The habitat houses a bunch of lions and visitors are allowed to get pretty close! They also have a few birds and a giraffe that paints, and that you can feed for a small fee. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions. We will visit again. 😊

Im a las vegas local and Ive been to the habitat ranch many times in the past and have had a great experience with my family but this past weekend it was quite the opposite experience. This was the first time we've came to the ranch since the COVID restrictions and they were really running this place like nazi Germany. We arrived at the ranch around 12pm and the gate was closed and someone came out and advised me of the new rules that a reservation has to be made prior to arriving. So I went ahead and booked the next reservation or 1pm. It was inconvenient but I was okay with that. We came back at 1pm and parked and we go to the front to check in and I was told that children over the age of 2 must wear a face mask. I was literally boiling inside but my son really wanted to go in so I had no choice but to comply with their rules. I've been to many many places here in Las Vegas and not ONE TIME did I enter any establishment which asked me to put a face mask on my 4 year old son. I dont believe in face masks but I wear it all the time but I refuse to put one on my innocent healthy child. This was beyond egregious. We are in a outdoor setting, this is literally the best place to NOT wear a face mask even if you are a believer in that. THen we walk in and walk around I we usually do and literally no one around us and then we are told we are walking the wrong way and we need to walk the opposite direction. And about every 10 minutes they had someone on the loud speaker repeating for everyone to follow social distancing guide lines. Just a horrible experience. I rather have my son watch lion king instead of this BS.

Great place to take your children when they want something special to do. The venue is outdoors so consider the weather when booking. You can pay a little extra for a 'behind the scenes' experience but the regular admission lets you see everything. The compound is built in a circle so it is easy to see everything more than once. There is famous giraffe that paints and you can purchase the paintings etc, if you wish. You can also pay $10 to feed the giraffe (don't forget your camera). You can also pay a little extra to feed the lions. It is safe, there is a fence between you and the lion. There are numerous parrots and Macaws plus other birds. Children seem more interested in the lions and giraffe. The lions are not old and decrepit like some zoos, in fact, the young ones are offspring that are now adults. They roar and talk to each other and catch some morsels of meat which encourages them to come closer to the fence for you to see. Enjoy!

The Ranch is small and great for a quick outing with the family. It houses birds, emus, tortoises, lions and Ozzy the giraffe. Due to the pandemic, tickets are sold on a limited basis so check availability online prior to your visit. Arrive 20-30 minutes prior to appt time as there was a line of cars waiting outside the gate to enter; ranch attendant checks in each party and take temps of all guests. Walking path is paved and easy to get around. We visited the ranch with our granddaughters during Spring Break. It was a warm day so wear sunscreen, bring water/an umbrella or wear a hat as there are limited shaded areas. There is a small gift shop and restroom onsite. Overall, we had a great time.
