Great when there is water

not so much when we are dry. So many birds so birdwatchers flock here especially in the Spring. Quiet place to spend some time, lovely.

Lots of dirt roads to take in the area and some different wildlife. Most of the wet areas are dry, so dry you find a lot of very dry cracked mud and dried up lake beds. Still a peaceful and pretty area to visit. I'm sure there are more birds and wildlife when it is wetter.

Awesome!!! Great views, lots of wildlife to see! Great way to introduce the family to one of the wildlife refuges in Nevada.

I remember it being a beautiful place - the dam and surrounding area - but there's basically nothing there but a small puddle.
