Wife and I use the base all the time for medical and commissary and the Nex store. Also for filling up with gas when needed. All places are very well maintained and operated at a excellent standard. Would recommend!!

It's an NAS located in the high desert of Nevada vs. the beautiful area it left behind in San Diego, CA.
Facilities are excellent, access is controlled and cannot say anymore because we'd have to shoot you!
Earlier reviews mentioned how interesting the fighter plane collection was. We drove to the entrance where they took my driver's license and were told there is no museum. After being sure we weren't a threat, we were told to turn around and leave.
The museum of fighter planes is second to none, explanations and descriptions and stats on plaques for you to read. Old ones, new ones, even some of the enemy ones, a very very worthwhile experience for all the family.
I've worked at NAS Fallon since 2007. If you love the sound of freedom then this is a great place to be. Just make sure you know some one and they know you so you can come on and get some cool pictures. If not...More
