Stopped here to see the exhibits inside and out. They have outside exhibits for certain days or just look at the statuse at the entrance. Very welldone to present history of this era. Great rainy day stop for inside.

The museum is a few miles from town but worth every mile. They were having Trail Days when we arrived and it was great to see everybody in costumes doing daily pioneer chores. Wonderful museum and a great staff.

A lovely museum, much more sophisticated than you might think given its location. The exhibits are realistic and interesting. The museum is large enough to be a destination. Do go. You won't regret it.

Have voted twice in the last three years. Excellent design and exhibits. Recommend for all ages. If one has any interest in the westward movement, it would a shame to pass this wonderful exhibit by - and it is free.

In May there will be an activity that will show the Pioneer way of life, gold panning, guns and many other activities. It is free for all.

There was a decision at South Pass Wyoming-- turn right and head to Oregon Country or turn left and head to California, where there was gold! The California trail meandered across the desolate Great Basin where there was an absence of water and forage for...More
