Hubbs and I took the dogs 6y and 11y. We all had a great walk. The walk up to the view is paved and all uphill but not bad. It seems like a short walk and the payoff at the top is 100% with it....More

This is a great hike - I'd say easy to moderate - easy because it's paved most of the way and moderate because it's (of course) a constant incline going up (coming down is easy!) When you get to the top you are rewarded with...More

Very close to the Tahoe Biltmore Casino off Lakeview not Lakeshore. Hike up is about 3/4 miles at about 7000 fasl but worth the walk up. There’s a trail in the “lake side” of the assfalt that has historical plaques.

Easy access to trail head, a relatively easy and quick hike rewarded with stunning views of the lake.

The trail is a paved fire road that climbs steadily uphill for a half mile, for an elevation gain of 400 feet. The mountain top was the location of a fire lookout from 1936 until the building was dismantled in 2002. It was replaced with...More

This is a paved road with steep inclines but very accessible and good. The views are great. We saw the state line from both north and south shore. Awesome experience. There is a trail at the top with info stops and restrooms.

Confusing drive to the site. But parking is on the street. A incline hike to the lookout. But not too bad of a hike due to the shade from the trees. Took us about 20-30 mins to hike up and about 20-25 mins hike back...More

Black topped trail all the way to the top. Wonderful views of the lake. Great little "sub trail" with interesting signs. Easy for children, but a little bit of an incline. No parking lot, just the side of the road.

I was a little confused on what street to turn on when we were trying to find the fire lookout. Near the Biltmore Casino is Reservoir Road. Once you get on there, there is a sign that points you to the fire lookout. However, once...More

A powered scooter would make it up there. If the person in the wheelchair was small (100 lbs), 2 people could do it. IMHO, too dangerous with only one.
