Little Pricey but a lovely local diversion

it is a great spot to hit when you don't feel like driving all the way to Markleville. It is a wee bit pricey to go every weekend for me but I like taking the kids on a winter... read more

Old timers know about it. Many do not as the roads have been changed and people have trouble finding it. Worth finding and well worth the cost.

I have a friend who has come to Hot Springs for years and would always say I should come. Finally, I caved in and went with her and it's not one of my favorite relaxing places. Time can get away from you because you become so relaxed in the environment of warm waters or even getting a massage. I highly... More

The pool is nice, but the private rooms are disgusting with mold growing on the walls and ceiling, and stuff floating in the water. The pool is worth the price of admission, but the private rooms are not.

I have visited the hot springs several times in the past and enjoyed it because it had a hot tub that was adult only(hate trying to relax in a tub with kids).today we traveled 130 miles to get here just to find out they allow kids in both tubs now. completely ruined my visit.I don't think i'll be coming back.

Carson City Hot Springs "Resort" is definitely lacking in resort atmosphere. This facility is very old -- some of the concrete walls and walkways are cracked or gauged. Some of the paint is peeling. The facility consists of a large main pool, along with several, private pool rooms, with water at varying temperatures. We chose to rent one of the... More

Hot spring resorts can be pricey but even with CHS upping the price with new management it is still a fair value I feel. $12 for all day? Not much you can do for $12. Go early, do some things during the day and come back later. Always quiet in the mornings. Outdoor spa gets closed often hence the 4... More

We were a little hesitant when we first pulled into the parking lot and weren't even sure how to get in. But, we figured it out and were sure glad we did. It was cheap, $24 for 2 people - for the whole day! We didn't stay that long, but we could have. The water was AWESOME! So relaxing. Tip:... More

This place reminded me of old Soviet-style sauna, it's a little dated :) but the pool was amazing, it's filled with fresh hot spring water daily and the day use rate is only 8 bucks, kids under 5 free. So it's really worth it, you can spend there all day, but be sure not to get overheated - the water... More

Great to swim and relax at a large and well maintained outdoor pool after a day of skiing. Private indoor hot tubs would be good if you had a friend along an wanted a private place to have a cocktail and to bask in the heated spring water. The also have motel units for rent.
