We visited this nuraghe during a trip with the owner of our B&B. It is quite a bumpy ride to get there (suv or 4x4 recommended) although we got in and out safely in our Volvo V70. Primarily the main tower remains, but you can actually climb the inside to the top level.
In addition there is a large cave underneath. You have to park you car about 700m away and walk the steep climb up, so bring some water and your hat. There is a ticket office with some information and they do offer guided tours.

The trip from Ossini is well worth it. There is also a 17km circular walking route that connects this nuraghe to three others.

I got there by car in August, the 11th, after a great guided tour in "Su Marmuri" caves, in Ulassai (highly recommended): from Osini a spectacular road goes up to the mountain called "taccu" passing through the forest.
Last 200 meters climb by walk and you have the nuraghe on your left and ticket office right in front of you (only 3 € per person).
Our guide Massimiliano was really friendly, he gave as all details we asked for and after the tour he spent some time with us talking about nuragic complexes, fauna and flora in Osini's region.
He speaks fluently French, German and, of course, Italian. We spoke Italian but his colleague speaks good English too.
Great experience!
