One Word: Edelweiss

We first visited 5 years ago (probably more]. We had the opportunity to stop by again to refresh our supply of their Edelweiss wine. It is SO good. Stop by and try some.

James Arthur Vineyards was a great host to the local Ren faire, but the wine was mediocre. It is all locally grown grapes, fruit and honey.

It's been a couple of years since I visited the vineyards in Raymond. I remember how welcoming the staff is and how relaxing the atmosphere is. I must visit more often! I had time to catch up with a friend as we watched the vineyards from under a gazebo while sipping a glass of wine and snacking on a filled... More

Our two sons joined us for a wine tasting sharing also in a sampling of the sausage, cheese, salmon and bread treats. It was a relaxing time with a great atmosphere and amazing service.

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. They offer wine tasting with the option of bread, cheese and meat. Our favorite was the Nebraska Red. It is a popular place near Raymond, Nebraska.

The location out here is great and we lucked into hearing some live music. We did a wine tasting complete with some chocolate and cheese. Great atmosphere for friends or a date night.

I was taken here whilst on vacation as a treat and what a treat it was I am not what you would call a "hardened wine drinker" but I had such an enjoyable day here. we did the $5 wine tasting option which allows you to try 6 different wines, you can also buy full bottles once you find one... More

I'm not a huge wine drinker (more of a beer guy) but went out here today and was really impressed. Had 6 samples and a basket of food (French bread, cheese, meat- all locally sourced) for less than $20. The sampling area was very cozy- 2 fire places, comfortable chairs, and several tables. Staff was very friendly- a great way... More

JAV is an amazing place to visit all year around. We love to grab some snacks and try a tasting (5 small samples for $5) and then take a bottle with us. Staff is friendly especially to the uneducated. They do a bunch of events all year so be sure to check the calendar. We are always comfortable at JAV... More
