Hockey Game
Nov 2019 • Couples
I like seats next to the ice, however, the plexiglas glass has not been cleaned in a long time. There were so many black marks, smears and icy marks on the glass that it was distracting from the game. The hockey games are fun, and the staff is always pleasant. The food and drinks are good, but as in any arena, expensive. I hope, they will have someone clean the glass between games. It kind of hard to see, but here are some pictures if the marks and smudges.

Reptile show
Oct 2019 • Business
We were vendors at the reptile show. The event center itself was nice. The lady at the front desk was not. We were told to unload in the back. Well it was raining and the load in area was literally under water. So we came back the the front. The lady was extremely rude. Would not listen to us that the back was flooded. Things could of been handled so much better. She was not willing to listen to any of us. We all did unload there. Unfortunately it left a bad taste in my mouth. I drove six hours for Wisconsin. I wasn’t looking for a fight. I was just looking for a place to unload my inventory for my event there.

This is a very clean very nice small arena. The staff was very nice and the Sears very close to the action. I would like to see a hockey game here.

Always love going to this arena for hockey games. We are from out of town and the venue is spotless! Also, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Marketing Mismanagement...
May 2018 • Friends
As a resident of Ralston, I have frequented the Arena several times, and have had positive experiences each occasion. Where i have problems with the facility stem from lack of planning, or forethought, concerning traffic flow in and out of a event. With 2 (ok...technically 3) access points to Arena, traffic flow is a major concern during heavily attended events. But do like I do, hit Ralston Keno for a cocktail, and let congestion subside. Secondly, the advertising and marketing of this facility is sorely under utilized...tv and radio ads would be a boon, especially local radio specific to the type of event/concert...not saying the Arena "doesn't" advertise, but should do so more forcefully. Arena could make more off advertising revenue...need more aggressive sales staff. Leaving way to many empty seats...lack of ticket sales...lack of profit resulting from both. 52 Friday and Saturday nights in a year, this facility should strive to have 45-50 weekends booked at a minimum...why not shoot high...can't go much lower (financially).

good venue / interesting situation
Jul 2018 • Couples
We saw Fluffy on Saturday, July 28th. Doors opened at 7 PM for the 8 PM show. We arrived promptly at 7 and were in our seats about 7:15. I'm glad we got to our seats as early as we did. We had floor seats, which were floor chairs. Shortly after we got there, the folks who had two seats past the two empty seats to our right arrived. One of the guests was in a motorized chair and she didn't want to sit in the seat. The Ralston usher took one of the purchased chairs and one of the two empty chairs beside us out and she pulled her chair in the empty spot. The usher took out one of the assigned seats and the lady in the motorized chair was sitting in the area of one of the seats she purchased plus one seat that someone else purchased. When the lady who purchased the two seats beside us arrived and found only one seat was available. The user had them sit off to the side of the arena in a row with several other folks. The lady appeared very upset and I completely understand. She paid for two assigned seats and one of them was taken from her. The patron in the motorized chair was allowed to have two seats, one she purchased plus one she didn't purchase. I thought that was a very poor way for the arena to handle the situation.

Won’t return to this venue
Jul 2018 • Couples
Once was enough...attended a show here and it has the absolute worst layout for a parking lot for starters. A BMW parked next to us got hit. We ended up staying in our car until all the spots surround us were full, which was fine because we were early anyways. The seats are snug. We are not big people and they were the most snug seats we’ve ever been in. It was beyond uncomfortable to the point it was hard to enjoy the show. Also it was nearly sold out and there was no air circulation with all those people! At intermission we got up to move around and up top by the bathrooms and food vendors the layout was horrible. It was busy and no matter where you tried to stand you were in a line of some sort.

Show was great but there is nothing that will get me to return to this venue again!

Also if you sit near any of the stairs there is a near constant train of people blocking you view going up and down the stairs to use the restroom or buy beer!

Unfortunate!

Always go to the Craft shows
Apr 2018 • Friends
I have been to the Ralston Arena for quite a few different events. I have gone to every Craft show there, a graduation, Ice skating, and a Lancers game. I think people forget there is parking in the back and access to Main St to get to 72nd. I have always enjoyed myself and the parking is FREE!

Great Venue
Jan 2018 • Couples
This is a small, but modern arena. It hosts smaller acts, but is big enough to get names you will recognize. The environment is wonderful. Great seats, great concessions, easy to see the stage. Every show I've gone to here was great. And not just concerts. Beerfests, craft fairs, etc.

Have been to college basketball game, indoor arena football game, music concert...all were handled very nicely at the Ralston Arena. Nice sight lines...good layout...ample parking...concessions are pretty decent.

Certainly a fine place to attend and event.
