Took my son but only had about an hour to spend there which is not enough time to take everything in. It was an amazing museum for everyone. I'm not really into cars but I loved the museum. There is a guided tour that lasts about 2 hours. Wish we could have stayed for that. Would love to go back!!

Have been doing business with this company for 25 years yet didn't know about this wonderful museum! Went there last week and was blown away by the quality of the displays and restorations. They need to advertise directly with the racetracks and let the fans as well as participants know of this exceptional experience.

I have visited many of the car/racing/auto museums across the country in the past few decades with my motorhead husband and travel friends. I was very surprised at the Museum of American Speed we visited as part of the Good Guys car show event in Lincoln. The variety of displays appealed to all ages with many fun areas for children.... We have been to a number of auto and racing museums in the last two years - and this is by far the best we have seen by a long shot! Amazing collection - vast depth and breadth. A must see for the automotive and racing fanatic!

Tom B, Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. Of course we really like it when a guest tells us that we are "by a far shot, the best we have seen". We work hard to live up to those words. Flatheadhauler, Thanks for visiting The Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed. We are glad that you enjoyed the Docent guided tour. It is one of two ways to see the museum, some folks prefer to self guide the entire museum and some like you really enjoy hearing the stories about the displays. No matter which way you choose to see... More

This museum is a must see for anyone going to Lincoln. There is every kind of race/classic car on display. From Indy, Sprint, Midget, Nascar, Dragsters and Classic road cars. We were there for 4 hours, did a self-guided tour and took the guided tour. Still missed a lot of stuff. Really need 2 days to be able to see... More

I have been to car and speed museums before, but I have never seen anything like this. The quality of the restoration's cannot be overstated. One of the gentlemen who works there told me that if you see a plastic tarp under the cars that means they have fluid in them and may be able to start up. The paint... More

Very informative guided tour. Lots to see. I especially loved the pedal cars and lunch box collection. Really different. And another thing we noticed different than any museum we've ever been to - no gift shop.

couple of weeks ago we were invited to visit the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed as guests of the museum. Even though it’s located in Lincoln, Nebraska, a mere 30 miles from our home, we’d never heard of it. After just a little more than an hour there, we couldn’t believe this place isn’t more well-known. Having visited many... More
