Beautiful mosaic ceilings and floors, paintings and sculptures inside the 400-foot high capitol building are as impressive as its marble, bronze and gold leaf exterior and white tower topped by a bronze statue. Free guided tours are available.

Love going there with 3 and 4 year old. So much to see...dinosaurs in floor tiles and such. But best part is going to the top to look out on the city and run around in top dome room (when no other adults there 😉)

Great architectural tour of the capital building. Good on a hot day. So many artistic flourishes that are pointed out.

Great time checking out the capital. Was nice to explore late in the day because it wasn't very busy. Very pretty inside and the visual aspect and attention to detail is amazing. The garden area is pretty and quiet.
