Lincoln's sunken gardens has been around for a long time. My parents visited it on their honeymoon around 1950. They said it was very beautiful then, as it is now. Those that work on all its plants take great care and pride in the setup of the floral arrangements. It has great walking paths widening through the flowers, a large... More

A great place to stroll and enjoy the various plants. Plants that are pretty from spring to fall. The rose gardens scr the street are fun to look at also.

Spend a half hour at this Lincoln legend. Annuals, perennials, fish, sculptures coexist in this well kept, outdoor garden. Sit a spell on a bench and let nature's sights, the fountains, and reflecting pool relieve some of the everyday. Read or watch, you'll leave a bit calmer than when you arrived. Catch a wedding throughout the spring and summer as... More

Very nice public garden I have visited many times, though I've been warned not to go there alone at night due to the area of town. There are often weddings there on Saturdays.

This is about the best time to visit the gardens. Talk a walk among the many beautiful plants and flowers or sit and relax along one of the paths. This is a gem of Lincoln!

This is a hidden gem in Lincoln. I go about once a month, just to see things evolving through the seasons. Great place to get ideas for plant and color combinations. My out if town visitors are always impressed.

Often there will be a wedding going on as the flowers and setting is filled with Joy and beauty , children are happy walking the trails , and gazing at the fish in the ponds . Its nature all around but sunken in the city along a main street . The cars go by unnoticed and silent so relaxing on... More

My late July visit was on an overcast day which seem to really bring out the color all over the place. Ponds had the best and widest variety of beautiful water flowers I've ever seen, including much larger gardens. Easy to spend an hour or two just soaking in the color and beauty. Extremely well cared for, again even in... More
