Very quaint, beautiful flower garden that offers levels of flowers to walk alongside. In the early summer evenings, this garden offers laughter of children from nearby zoo, couples walking hand in hand, and even hosts many summertime weddings.

A beautiful spot in Lincoln. Depending on the season, the flowers, setting and decor can be extremely beautiful. When my aged mother visits, this was one of her favorite spots to go and there are often weddings being held here. It is not huge but oh so peaceful and beautiful. They do an excellent job of transforming this place from... More

This would get a 5 if it were a little bigger. We knew winterization had taken place, but wanted to see it to see if we would come back during the summer months. We definitely would. Loved the Koi ponds and serene atmosphere. My only downside, is it is small. If you are wanting to get a walk in, then... More

It is a nice and beautiful garden at the crossroads of two busy streets. The ponds the fishes, the flowers and the landscape helps to transfix yourself in a different world. A world of calm and relaxation.

We have been going here for years. I go alone, take my children or go for a stroll to a perfect ending for date night. I love the koi fish and the lily pads. Beautiful flowers and history. Great place for a wedding.

This area is bounded by two busy streets, but my visits there are very peaceful. The traffic simply disappears when you immerse yourself in the beautiful ponds, waterfalls and plantings.

This small, but beautiful park offers a botany lesson, a peaceful walk, and fish! Centrally located in Lincoln, the Gardens can be enjoyed in 30 minutes, or experienced at a much more leisurely pace. For those driving through Lincoln, a visit to the Sunken Gardens and a meal at one of the many great places to eat around the city... More

Young and old love walking thru the gardens. The kids love looking at the fish! There are so many different flowers to see...and it looks amazing and is all done by volunteers. They do an amazing job keeping up the grounds!

Sunken Gardens is one of the most amazing gardens you will ever visit. It is beautiful year round, but at its peak in color in July and August. Springtime brings beautiful tulips by the hundreds, usually in large plantings in pink and/or white. Summer is exquisite with beauty beyond belief in such a small area. Holiday lights are an attraction... More
