I'm a big fan of botanical gardens and arboretums and so I had to check this place out. I couldn't stay as long as I wanted since it was raining but I was still impressed. It was colorful, clean, and I really liked the koi!

Though this garden is small it is absolutely gorgeous and free! There were several wedding parties taking pictures when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Beautiful colors with so many different plants. They did have a sheet with all of the plants listed.

This is a well-known park in the middle of the city. You feel like you're a million miles away though. Absolutely beautiful no matter what time of year you visit.

The Sunken Gardens is a beautiful and restful idyllic spot. Wonderful floral plantings, koi and lily ponds. A great gathering space for families, couples or just a place for solitary reflection.

The garden was in full bloom when we attended a wedding there the last weekend in August. A beautiful backdrop for flowers, even though the heat was pretty extreme (at 95 plus degrees in the sun and high humidity).

The end of May is just fine. The gardens are planted so that there are different plants blooming all season. It's really lovely at night too.
