It is relaxing to walk around it. It has benches to sit on. Just beautiful. Under the beautiful dome is the history of the gardens. At one point it was a landfill. so make sure you read that.

One of the most scenic locations around in Lincoln. If you are a gardener / nature lover, it is a must visit. We have been exploring photography of late, and this garden is a great place to start without having to travel too far.

Brought our girls from Kansas and took some lovely photos. I cannot wait to process them. Loved that we could go to the gardens and then to the zoo.

Your whole family will love these gardens. Kids love the goldlfish ponds, and there are a testament to Great Depression era work ethic.

The Sunken Gardens in Lincoln has always been a lovely oasis amidst city traffic with its flowers and fish ponds, but the most special place for me is one that is too easily missed by many. There is a lovely gazebo, itself not hard to...More

We recently toured the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln and marveled at the artistic design of the gardens once again. We have visited the gardens before and each year they seem to out do themselves. It takes dozens of helpers to plant the show stopper display....More

Hi! No charge, its free and wide open to the public. That said, however, its Nebraska and plants still are dormant or not planted. Taking a nice stroll down the walks can give you, however, a feel for the architecture of... More
