Lincoln Children's Zoo is rated among the best zoos for children by Parent Magazine and is home to over 400 animals, including the world's smallest monkeys (pygmy marmosets), ring-tailed lemurs, dromedary camels, red pandas, meerkats, and more!. Over 40 of our animals are endangered, including the Humboldt Penguin, Amur leopard and Matschie's tree kangaroo. Featuring interactive Zoofari stations with Larry the Cable Guy, up-close animal encounters and the historic ZO&O Railroad, the Zoo is the perfect destination for the entire family. Lincoln Children's Zoo's mission is "to enrich lives through firsthand interaction with living things."

We love Lincoln but didn't realize it had a zoo until this visit. It's smaller, but less overwhelming than it's Omaha competition without spending an entire day there and wearing everyone out. Very shaded, and very interactive with the ability to touch many animals! My...More

Even though it was hot, we had so much fun! Never have I seen a flying squirrel in action. Too cool. The lady in "The Hive" was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her information!

Read a lot of mixed reviews on this zoo before visiting and my biggest question was "what is their top attraction" as no one seemed to list one. After visiting - I'm not sure I know. I liked the animal kingdom building and "the hive"...More

We have been to Zoos all over the world, and for is size, Lincoln Children's Zoo is perhaps one of the best. It falls short of Henry Dorley, San Diego and Bronz zoos, but it is remarkable for a city of this size. The exhibits...More

I loved every minute of our visit here. The admission of $9.95 is a steal. Lots of shade and you can get soooo very close to the majority of animals. Our teenager actually enjoyed it. Will be returning next year with our young grandsons.

There are things to not only look at, but interact with at the LCZ! This is great for kids of all ages! It's not so large that you need a half day there either. The parking is close, and it's nice and shady overall! There...More

I have taken my Grandkids here for years. They love riding the ponies and the train. Halloween is the highlight of the year there.
