This is a great zoo that can be done in a few hours. The train ride is fun for the kids but you can not see the animals from the train. The goats are very gentle and fun to feed from your hand.

This zoo has progressed a lot in the ten years since we started going there. It's small enough that you can see everything in just a couple of hours, and it isn't overwhelming. There are several indoor exhibits, and the outdoor path leads you through mostly trees, so there is a lot of shade. You can ride ponies, feed goats... More

It's a little small but it is geared more for kids. The new tortoise exhibit is pretty cool. They do take a lot of care to keep up everything around the zoo. It's really good if you need something to do to kill a couple of hours. Although the staff is very helpful and courteous, they never seem to have... More

The adult in me had a great day at this zoo. I've never seen so many interactive areas for children. I was given a chance to pet a snake (no comment on that, lol) Spent long time in butterfly house ( they kept landing on camera lens)...Was able to feed a camel and goats. Very well laid out zoo, good... More

My wife and I took our two year old granddaughter to the Lincoln Children's Zoo. If was really fun, interesting and educational. Although only two years old, our granddaughter found many things of interest. Didn't really care for the presentations but we did. The penguin feeding was great as were other timed "special events" throughout the day. One attraction allowed... More

This zoo is the perfect size for families with small children and pre-teens. It's possible to interact with animals at the Lincoln Children's Zoo in a charming setting. The grounds are walkable and staff is friendly and helpful. The train ride that circles the zoo is great fun, too!

This is more like a petting zoo. It has many hands-on exhibits. We spent about two hours there and saw all the exhibits. Feeding the animals and riding the train cost extra. Overall it was a fun visit for our children.

I took 4 kids ranging in ages 12 to 2. The zoo staff and volunteers were very friendly and helpful. This zoo has a great combination of play areas and exhibits. I love that there are always volunteers with animals and insects for kids to touch and learn about. We got a membership and it's a great value.

It is an average sized zoo. It has a lot of fun activities for kids during a specific period of the year. Not one of the bests; however it would be a good idea to spend some time and enjoy with your kids.

This zoo is a great size. It only takes a couple of hours to walk through. The majority of it is covered by trees so there isnt alot of sun exposure so that helps with the heat. There are horse rides as well. They dont cost too much. I wasnt happy with the gal that was walking my sons horse... More
