Very quiet place

I visited the park twice during my stay in Lincoln and I was very surprised how quiet place it is. You can enjoy the sun and reading on the benches, listening to the fountain...

A stunning slice of heaven near downtown Lincoln.

I’ve wanted to go here for a while, it was a nice warm fall day today so I thought I’d go. So happy I did. The park is close to the capital building with plenty of parking around the park. The park is well kept and very quite. (At least when I was there around 10am). There is a small kids play area and seating for the older folks.

Beautiful little park. Great place for a small wedding.

This is a small neighborhood park. I love the gazebo and it is a nice place for a small, outdoor wedding.

Interesting park by UNL campus where you can get lost in a garden with pretty architecture for a while.

A lovely neighborhood park.

A pleasant and unexpected green-space close to downtown Lincoln. A pergola is nestled in the corner with a lovely fountain in the center of the park. There are also swings and a safe play area. All of this surrounded by a hedge and colorful plantings.

Beautiful Park for a Wedding
May 2016 • Friends
We reserved this park for our wedding (many years ago). Parks and rec were wonderful when we had an unexpected May snow storm! We had to use our alternate space and were refunded our deposit. It is a small park with room for an intimate setting. Parking on the side streets. Love the gazebo!

The most beautiful gazebo for an outdoor wedding. The bridal party were barefoot - the grass was sooooo soft!
Beautiful floral backdrop for pictures
The quietness of the area made it so easy to hear the vows.

Easy parking, easy to location to find if you are visiting from out of town.

Friends of ours were married here last summer. It was like being in a place that was just ours. It was like being in your own bubble. Intimate, and a great place for pictures! Would bring kids here for fun on the playground, picnics, reading.

Small park for respite time!

I have attended small weddings in this little venue and they were both so intimate because you so close to the wedding party. I loved it!

Relaxing spot to read
Jul 2015 • Family
This is a small playground for toddler aged children. Not much there for older kids but it does have a fountain and a little gazebo that are nice to sit by and read. City fixed the park up several years ago and it is a great spot to relax in.
