About
This collection of over 200 cars represents one man's 41-year love affair with the automobile. It also represents America's love affair and fascination with automobiles and the evolution of our society around the world of wheels. You'll see a variety of body types and styles. You'll enjoy the incredible detail crafted into many of these vehicles - artistic hood ornaments, instrument gauge panels, wheel styles and headlights. Coordinated together to tell their own stories and help us track the evolution of the model and of the age of automobiles. IPads are provided free of charge to give you additional photographs of the vehicle's details - some not able to be seen by the public as well as more information about the vehicles. This attraction is more than just automobiles. It features artistic displays, interactive multi-media shows and models.

    Good Time
Fun little museum. We had some time to kill before we checked in at our campground and saw this recommended on Trip Advisor, this museum did not disappoint. $12 entrance fee and we wandered for about an hour looking at all the classic cars. Not a huge collection but definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and enjoy classic cars.

    Bygone era
As a trucker, I like going to different car and truck museums across our great country. Was a pleasure to walk around and see some of these classic cars they have. Got talking to a very nice volunteer, Bruce, who told me a little about the collection and also some of the local history. Appreciate somebody taking the time to do that in a world that’s too busy to chat sometimes. I just love the memorabilia of a bygone era. an error I was never in, but that I long to have back. True Americana brings you to a different time. Oh, and the other side of the building is a Cabela’s so you can’t go wrong!

A must see if you are traveling through Kearney Nebraska. Fantastic find !! Great Fun!!
Oh My!! I had such a great time admiring all of the classic cars and the awesome backdrops and murals . We spent a good 2 hours touring the amazing show of classic automobiles they painstakingly displayed inside a space of about 3 football fields of showroom and displays. Beautiful is all I can say. Some cars were donated by collectors, some are on loan from collectors, and others are willed to the collection by classic car collectors. This is a must see for anyone traveling through Nebraska. The curator is very informative and well versed in all the vehicles in this collection. What a find this was for us, so unexpected, so fun reminiscing about our younger days and the cars we owned , or would like to own now. I took pictures of all of the cars, to remind me of this great experience. Great job putting together the spectacular display of all of the classics. I really hope they keep growing their inventory for those who admire the classics.

GREAT COLLECTION of autos and memorabilia displayed in a nice climate controlled building. We took our two grandsons age 9 and 12 and spent two hours…I just hope that places like this never go away. The price was very reasonable and the people staffing the museum were friendly and knowledgeable… I wasn’t prepared for such a beautiful collection of fine automobiles!

We were driving through Nebraska on i-80 and Googled fun attraction in the area. We found the Classic Car Museum in Kearney and were extremely happy with our decision to stop off and take a break from the drive. There are great stories behind the exhibit and the staff is more than friendly and couteous to share the background of the museum, the owners and an amazing donation of vehicles in the museum! It is a fun time for the whole family and an affordable experience. "A Must See" and excellent time to get off the highway and step back in time. The exit after this has a large number of places to eat lunch or dinner..

You’d be hard pressed to find a speck of dust anywhere on this gorgeous display of about 200 cars. Each one is pristine and beautifully displayed. I loved the large wall graphics and great interpretive information given on each car. Nice gift shop. We arrived 3:00 pm on a weekday afternoon and could have spent more time there (closing time is 5:00 pm). This collection is in a building connected to Cabela’s. Well worth the time and reasonable admission price. I think we paid $8 (seniors).

A lot of it was the memories it brought back. Our group of four(4) were all in our seventies. Most cars were older than that and we found them and their stories to be so very interesting. I could not believe the immaculate conditions of these restored cars. The entire place was simply amazing. We were there about two(2) hours. Professor Bruce, a volunteer there, was great at visiting with us and pointing out various highlights throughout the self guided tour. It is all indoors on a concrete floor. there were places to sit and rest and they had wheel chairs available. I felt so guilty about the admission prices for such an amazing display of vehicles that I left a donation of almost twice the admission.

This car collection is displayed in a very eye appealing way. The surroundings to the cars enhance the already outstanding collection!

Very much with going to if you are a car fan or even if you're not. The nostalgic vibes will take you back in time at the very least!

My wife and I stopped into this car museum to the East of Kearney and had a great couple hours, just looking over the collection. There are a lot of cars here! They are all in pristine condition and frankly there were makes and models I had never even heard of before. If you are into cars at all, I think this is a must see place.

There were SO many cars all with their own history and story. A few you can actually climb into, and all have great value and history. The staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable about all the cars and had a lot of stories to tell! Definitely a must see in Kearney!!
