So nice to see they have a free park which has a huge wooden play area, as well as a pool. The kiddie side is free. I didn't use the other side but I was told it is 2.50. Has diving boards & life guards. Beautiful setting for a picnic!

Many old growth mature trees. Covered picnic areas. Large children's fenced play area. Next to city swimming pool and several softball diamonds.

Was out killing time and happened upon this park. For a small town, it is quite an expansive park, well laid out and some pretty features. I'd like to see the beautiful fountain running next time I'm here. Pleasant surprise.

One of the attractions of the City Park in Fairbury is its large Swimming Pool that includes diving boards, water slides, and concession stand. The local pool is conveniently located and easily accessible with ample parking and reasonably priced. The pool generally opens on Memorial Weekend and closes the weekend before school starts. The pool also offers showers, bathrooms, lockers,... More

Check out the fountain, play park and train. Very nice attractions for a small town. Many picnic areas too.

Not a bad park, Fairbury has 3 parks and this one is the best. It has a nice playground and horseshoe pit. That's about it. Only downfall is it's very traffic heavy so you have to watch for your kids the whole time.

This was a nice city park. Not hard to find. Public swimming pool, didn't get a chance to swim in it but looked nice. Lots of shady spots to relax.

The only time I've visited this park has been during their annual Fourth of July Antique and Flea Market. It is a wonderful setting for such a fun time. The park has a wonderful old fountain in its center and there may be 100 vendors in all including some funnel cake and Grandpa's Snowballs (sno-cones). The vendors set up in... More
