An absolutely fantastic experience. The darkness, helmets, head torches and walkways make it fun. I'm no geologist but the cave is visually fascinating, and you learn *so much* (adults too, this definitely isn't just aimed at children!). The whole experience was really topped off by...More

Visited the caves on a very cold, foggy day however; this didn't matter as once inside, apart from the odd waterfall it was nice and dry. You need to be relatively well wrapped. You are furnished with a protective helmet as some parts of the...More

What a cool experience in The Cave! This is a guided tour of a lava cave in Iceland where you get to actually descend into the cave. Everything is well organized and it’s an easy walk once you descend using stairs into the cave.

I visited the cave with my family and it was truly a memorable experience for everyone. The photos I saw before did not reflect the huge size of the cave and I was very impressed. The guide did a great job and explained the geology...More

Our guide here was full of interesting information, a really enjoyable few hours on the tour. The formations in the lava cave are most unusual and hearing how they formed was interesting. Well worth a half day.

We really enjoyed our trip to this cave. It is a family owned business and the the guides are extremely knowledgeable about their subject. They are also really patient and have time for lots of questions about things that are not necessarily to do with...More

Their website is quoted in this listing, as well as their phone number and even a map, as usual, in TripAdvisor listings. Anyway, it's: thecave dot is.
