15 min drive from city center you arrive to heaven with never ending green 360°view.
Modern wine cellar with a beautiful terace where you can enjoy the tastes of Doppler wines and some special typical stirian cold dishes, served with personal touch of the family who runs the wine estate (Mihaela with her husband and 3 daughters).
October was the month when we could enjoy the smell of roasted chestnuts, prepared for the guess and taste the young wine (mošt) and enjoy picturesque sunset.
Doppler Wine estate is not only a plače to visit, but the place you keep coming back again and again.

Amazing views, really good wines and great staff! We also got free wine samples on top of what we ordered. Owners have amazing stories behind the bottles, highly recommend this place!

Doppler Winery is a little piece of heaven. The views are stunning. Staff was very hospitable. Wines were delicious. It's a must see if you are in the Maribor region.

Beautiful location, among vineyards. Authentic home-made food (dry salami, ham,.. and various of cheeses) and excellent wine.
Friendly staff.
Parking is a problem if there are more guests.

We had a wonderful, private wine tasting during our visit to Maribor. The wines were delicious, as was the meat/cheese board that was provided. The views from the top of the mountain were unmatched. Highly recommend!

The MUST visit if you are in the area of Maribor. Great wine and hospitality of the owners. Wine testing is amazing, white, red and sparkling wine. Muskat Ottonel is one of the best I have ever tried.
