Took the chance on a one day rental! Decided at the last minute to do an ATV ride, called and Kathleen was very accommodating! I ended up changing my plans 3 times, and she was very patient and accommodating! My guide was Alyssa, who was very knowledgeable and took me to some great spots, just what I asked for. The process was very easy and can all be handled on line before you arrive. Definitely worth the trip!

Our group of 5 loved the guided tour!! Amazing views, time for a stop to see a waterfall, pics at the top of a mountain and multiple terrains. The guide Alyssa was amazing too! She gave us direction along the way, let us go at our own pace but with a watchful eye! We loved every minute of it! Thanks for a great experience!

Oh goodness...what a muddy good time! We did the 1/2 day 4 seat Razr. Hannah took us on an amazing journey! We were completely covered in mud halfway through the adventure and had much more fun after that. Plenty of fun trails with a lot of scenic beauty as well. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming and when we return to the area next year, we certainly plan to make Action Adventures part of our plan!! Thank you for your fun and hospitality!!

Thank you Robin, we truly appreciate that you stopped back in, so to speak, to provide feedback. Mud is our favorite too! We'll be sure to pass the encouraging words on to Hanna and we look forward to seeing you next year. Thanks for Playing!

Where to start... I guess I'll start to explain why I'd like to rate them with no starts but Google doesn't let me do that so one star it is.
Continue to read our experience thoroughly for it might help you decide if you really want to book with these people or not.
My family of 13 just recently took a trip to MT and wanted to do all the fun extracurricular activities they have to offer and of course we wanted to rent UTVs.
The chaos all started when we received a call the day before our reservation that one of the 4-seater UTVs was damaged (which we understand happens in this industry). They didn't have a backup 4-seater UTV to fit the amount of people we reserved for, so instead they offered up the guides UTV. That would leave us with no guide and could only accommodate 12 instead of 13. We told them we would let them know as we now are just assuming that those plans were scratched and had to find a back-up plan in less than 24 hours for a party of 13 (which if anyone knows, can be very challenging).
On to the next day - day of supposed reservation - we receive a text message anytime around 10am to 11am that they had found another 4-steater UTV so we were thrilled, our plans are still in place. We show up before our reserved time to listen to the rules and to understand what our contact says. The pricing for each UTV they offered us was very very clear (RZR was minimum $3k and the Can-Am was a minimum of $5k for wrecking and/or damages ON OR OFF-TRAIL).
We started on our 2 hour tour and it was a very slow start, just about the first 45 minutes to an hour was almost all flat road and to be quite honest, it was very boring. But we knew there had to be more to be offered so we bit our tongue and waited to see. About an hour and a half in, we climbed mountains, sped through rocky terrain, and drove through very narrow dirt roads. It was a fun experience UNTIL we started to approach the end. As I mentioned above, we went through very narrow dirt trails that had sticks and trees on the trail and branches sticking out in the middle of the trail. Well, as we were driving at a fast speed through these trails to stay up with our guides, the third UTV (RZR) hit a stump ON THE TRAIL. Within 5 minutes of that happening, they realized the damages and one of guides continued that take us back for check-out and the other guide stayed with the damaged RZR.
As we all get back to check-out, the guide that brought us back stormed inside to tell the lady at the front desk (which is her mother - since it's a family owned business) that it was completely damaged BEFORE THROUGHLY ASSESING IT - because the mother(owner) comes out and is speaking about the damages and costs to some of the people in our party.
NOW TO REMIND YOU, we understood the conditions and costs if there was damages to any of the UTVs during riding, just want to make that clear.
Once the damaged UTV is examined and assessed, the manager takes the person driving the UTV inside to talk through damages and cost. It started to get very heated in conversations between the staff and our party because there was so much miscommunication on both sides. As voices start to raise, the staff start to get aggressive about "not making any money today because of these damages" - which is NOT true considering the person who damaged the UTV was paying for all the damages.
As the time goes on, every staff member(family member) starts to talk under their breathe to then running their mouth to our party instead of talking us down - because of course we were upset that we were being treated, as customers, in an unorderly fashion. All we wanted was a different approach on how it was handled from when we arrived to return the UTVs and check-out, instead, we got childish, disgusting, aggressive behavior from everyone at this business.
Although we did NOT have a good experience at the end, I'm not here to bash anyone. If that's how they want to run their business, so be it. I am simply stating in FINE detail how our experience went to prepare other families or parties before booking.

Last rode snowmobiles 35 yrs ago when I owned one as a kid. This was such a fantastic experience using the latest sleds. Colt, the trail guide, did such an excellent job taking us 50 miles over 3 hrs on groomed and ungroomed trails deep into the mountains. I would highly recommend this experience for any guys that want an adrenaline rush the entire time!

Our tour was not guided. The Razor that we drove was well equipped and included a navigation system. The fellows that checked us in were very nice and explained all that we needed to know. They were very helpful! Beautiful views! Would do again anytime!

Having a guide who knows the trails is key. Nick took us on some thrilling trails and scenic stops! We got very dirty but he recommended a swimming hole to hit after and it was the highlight of our entire trip. The operation is organized and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Nick took us out on an amazing ride. We weren't sure what to expect, as this was our first side-by-side excursion. This tour had a little bit of everything...smooth dirt roads, bumpy, windy dirt roads, power lines, mud, hills, views. You name it, we did it. Nick took us on roads you could never find on your own and led us according to our driving skill level. If you do this (and I would), definitely book the guide. I don't know how you could find your way and go fast without one. We were late for our tour (make sure you wear long sleeves, long pants and closed toe shoes and know where your launch site is - b/c there are no cells once you get out of Whitefish) and Nick was kind to extend our ride to make up for most of our late time (Note: this was a private tour).

We had such a great time on our tour. It was incredible and the guides were so knowledgeable. The family will remember it forever. I highly recommend it and it was a great activity even in the cold temps.

Do I need a motorcycle license to drive one of the Polaris Slingshots around? And what should I wear while riding around in one of the Slingshots? Also if I do book one would I have to pay in advance or can I pay when I come to pick one up?
