You cannot be serious that this tired, mediocre building is something architecturally significant. My first impression is "where is urban renewal when you need it?" FLW was a great talent but not everything he designed was.

If you have seen other Frank Lloyd Wright buildings then surely you will be disappointed by this one. However, I am glad I took the time to see it and can say that I was there. This building was originally built to be the Lockridge Medical Center, but now it has been restored and functions as law offices. The staff... More

We walked by the house (no business) on a Sunday, so it was closed. But this is a near piece of FLW history in downtown Whitefish! :)

As a residential designer I love unique Architecture and I'm a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright. The ranch style brick building is set back on Central Ave towards the residential side. It is now a commercial building housing a law office. The inside still has his signature of low and high ceilings to create feelings of coziness and a sense... More

lived here many years ago,was pleasantly surprised to see this was still here. It used to be a bank and I never really got the importance of having a FLW bldg. here. Having visited FLW places in other states was neat that my hometown had this

So this famous architect designed this building that was once a cutting edge medical clinic for the town. Now it just sits their as a legal practice and really little seems to be done to celebrate its heritage other than a plaque and red hand print I would have loved to have seen inside and perhaps the original designs and... Quaint town with a big heart and interesting shops in the main "downtown" area. Plenty of shops, openly friendly owners willing to go the extra step to satisfy the customer.

I did not know the history of the building until I read it on the net. From that I gather Frank must have been mailing it in late in his career. I am not an archetect or a archetectural critic, but I was stunned that this run down old building carried his name.

We were very surprised to find this building when we were passing through Whitefish. My husband is an architect, and we were visiting other FLW buildings in our two month road trip, so it was cool to add another one to the tally! As other reviewers say, there's not much to see really, but it was interesting to see it,... More

While researching for things to do and see in Whitefish during a one week visit in June I discovered that in town was a Frank Lloyd Wright building. The building now used by a law firm has many of the characteristics that the architect is noted for. The floor to ceiling glass windows of the west facade and the large... More
