We had a fantastic, two hour trail through beautiful forest, curtesy of Diamond Ranch. The guys there couldn't have been more friendly. We were beginners but after a really helpful run through on how to steer the horses safely, we all felt incredibly confident and ready to go. Justin, our guide, was fab. Really, really friendly, great with the kids... More

We are visiting the Yellowstone area and was looking for a place to ride horses. Thankfully, the place I originally called (twice) never answered. We passed Diamond P Ranch on our way to Yellowstone and decided to reserve our spot for horseback rides later that evening. I'm so glad we got to experience Montana on horseback through the Gallatin National... More

2 hour ride at The Diamond P today. I took my grown daughter just for a treat. I own my own horses, but wanted to see what this place has to offer. I was very happy. It was an incredible ride with breathtaking views. The nicest part is you can feel quite comfortable even if you have never been on... More

This was SO MUCH FUN! The horses were gentle and clearly well cared for, the guides were funny and helpful (Preston & JuJu) and everything went as planned without any delays or hiccups. They responded promptly to my reservation request and it was really a top-notch experience. The ride was in the Gallatin National Forest, NOT Yellowstone - we went... More

I went here with my 6 year old daughter. My 13 yo daughter was bucked off of a friend's horse when she was 6 and cracked her skull; so needless to say, I'm a bit nervous. This place made me relax around horses for the first time since that accident. First of all, they offer cowboy-hat style helmets and don't... More

Took time to match horses to rider experience. Took time to fit stirrups. Good trail ride with beautiful views. Allowed experience rider in group to lead and gallop for a short time at end of ride. Put 3 yr old on horse after trail ride and lead around barn at no charge. Allowed adult staying with 3 yr old and... More

Staff did a great job of matching horses with the skill and experience of the riders. They provided FREE saddle bag use for us to carry our water and camera. Preston was extremely patient with my special needs son and patiently took a number of pictures of the 3 families on our ride. Note they use your camera or phone,... More

Awesome 4-hours private ride! Fantastic guide and really great horses, beautiful landscapes and a lot of fun during the ride. It was such a great memory to make for my daughter for her 18-birthday, just riding on the edge of Idaho and Montana. Thank you so much to the Diamond P ranch team!!!

We spent a delightful evening riding through the beautiful mountain trails outside West Yellowstone. We love this ranch, the owners Rex and Bambi are great at what they do.The reservation process was great, with quick responses to phone messages. The horses are well trained and loved. Our guide Justin and the other wranglers are genuine and fun to be around.
