Grand and quite a view within the park, even though there are other attractions within the park which are more famous.

We traveled throughout the park during the last week before road closings. Very few other cars and people in the park. Many bison and elk sightings throughout the park. Very helpful staff of rangers to help with questions and directions.

We have seen the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone in both summer and winter. The Yellowstone river runs through it. The canyon is beautiful in either season but I have to say that being there when the canyon was full of snow and not any other...More

Be sure to have your cameras posed because there was a treat around every corner. We spent 4 days traversing the entire park and took every turnout. This is a national treasure not to be missed.

What an incredible river! Moves quickly and many rapids yet many pools. Breathtaking is not enough to describe it but it did cause my husband and I to exclaim with exuberance, "God is so good".

I have to say that the big wild blue yonder of this place is very fitting. It does not even fit into the pictures and your memory is about the only way to really show it as vivid as it really it.

There are several rafting companies along the Snake River. Frankly I can't recall the name of the one we took, but all seemed to be pretty similar as we passed them along the way. Bundle up though it's pretty chilly out on... More
