We travel to Island Park, ID every summer for a few weeks and ALWAYS visit the Playmill. This is a super friendly, down home kind of theater. The productions are always very well done and so much fun!! Just GO! You'll be glad you did!!

This is a small theatre in town where the same actors do all three shows. They escort you to your seat, sell snacks during intermission and just put on fun, fun, shows for young and old. Go see it!

This is a small theatre in the round (U shape). The sides have five rows. There really aren't any bad seats. We saw seven brides for seven brothers. Because the stage is so small they had to change some things up, deleting some standard parts. This is my favorite movie and I've seen the play many times so at first... More

I love the Playmill. This season I made a special trip to see Mary Poppins and Singin' In The Rain. Both productions were amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I made another trip with the rest of my family to see both productions again a few weeks later. I've seen 20+ musicals on Broadway, and I dare say that Playmill's... More

This little playhouse packs a wire to wire show from the minute you walk in the door. The cast is there to seat you, they sell you treats at entermission and they form a line to say goodbye at the end. They are high energy, positive, very talented and entertaining. The admission price is very fair as are the prices... More

Found this place and decided to go. Glad we did. It was a wonderful experience. Very small venue and stage, but what a cast!! What this place lacks in size it makes up for in warmth, enthusiasm and talent. We saw "Singing in the Rain" and I've never seen more than snippets of the movie so it was nice to... More

I really enjoyed the play we went to see Mary Poppins it had a lot of character to it I thought the actors and actresses were really good. In the interval they come out with fudge popcorn and a couple of different drinks I really enjoyed our visit here and I would definitely recommend it.

Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. And can I mention intermission..........fudge, popcorn, sugar cookies, root beer floats, ice cream and Dole Whip, all extremely yummy.
