Do walk the 350 steps down to see the dam. It is truly beautiful and very interesting. If you are driving to the dam from Polson, look for a small white hand crafted sign that marks the turn. If you miss it, don't give up....More

We stopped here from Trip Advisor. Glad we did. Went to the overlook and drove down to the river level. It is only 5 miles out of town and turn on the right hand side. The sign does not say Kerr dam but county landfill....More

Short hike down to get great view. Read history. Recently sold to Native Americans to operate. Easy gravel road to access. Maybe 30 min to fully see.

This dam is off the beaten path. Once you reach the parking area you have quite a few stairs to walk down to the viewing platform. It's beautiful and peaceful.

Loved the little hike down to the viewpoint, and the interpretative signs. A must visit when you come through Polson.

Look for sign that reads: Selis Ksanka Qlispe Project All previous reviews are pretty spot on. Lots of stairs 300+, but very small rise. Vistas are some of the best around. Enjoyed the drive Orr

This was a major project employing over 1000 people (mostly Native Americans) during the 1930's. There are over 350ish steps down to the lookout area. Well worth the time -- it's actually taller than Niagra Falls. The water is various colors blues and greens --...More

We stopped by at Kerr Dam on the way to Glacier National Park. It was a short ride from the highway into the Dam itself. The roads to the Dam itself are not marked clearly and we might have been lost if not for Google...More
