Went home after 26 years and still the same. Rustic same pools and a sauna that's VERY hot. Spent day with sons family and mineral water took away all my aches. 2 pools outdoors and sauna inside. Shower rooms inside. Beautiful in mountains. Down the road are now cabins for rent and although we did not rent one they are... More

If you are looking for “glamping”, this is not the place. The cabins and hot springs are RUSTIC. Stuck in a time warp, tucked in the forest at high altitude, and not 100% sanitary…..we found it wonderfully delightful. We reserved our cabin online and chose one with indoor plumbing. The cabin was much bigger than we anticipated. It had two... More

This place is very rustic. It is a cool place for the family. We really enjoyed are time here. The breakfast in the morning was good and plus we are booked with a nother trip at the end of July. It's not super fancy but the owners are great!

The worst I have seen in along time. This place needs some attention from someone who cares. Nice location. The pool was scummy. More like a cold pond. Body temperature. So gross I just couldn't do it. The shower I was so looking forward to after hiking for two days, also was so run down, the ceiling in showers had... More

One the few lodges left that hasn't yet been "fussified" for those expecting ready to light fires, an expansive menu and matching designer bedroom linens. Has a very laid back, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' feel lodges and campgrounds had back in the day. Super cozy beds, good food, relaxing hot spring in a magical setting.

My husband and I were embarking upon a lifelong dream-come-true to traverse the Northwestern region by any means necessary. Our means: A rented Chevy Spark! We found Elkhorn Hot Springs on the web and, since my husband's dream is to "rough it" in the mountains surrounded by snow, we booked two nights in the Twilldo. While there is no running... More

If you're looking for a place with amenities, this is not the place. However, if you want to enjoy primitive Montana then by all means give this place a try. We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant and then price was well worth it. We had lunch and dinner there and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast was... More

A lot of potential here, but in dire need of a make over...pretty rustic, hot springs were good, as was the food. Cabin was clean, but old. Indoor hot spring/sauna was the hottest I've ever experienced. Employees appear overworked (guy power washing the pool was our waiter that evening) but were very pleasant and accommodating. My husband and kids LOVED... More

Do not go here. Do not take family or friends. Do not ever visit. Montana has lots of hot springs to visit that you can go with others and have a great time. Just because this is off the beaten trail, secluded under a canopy of stars at night, surrounded by pine trees and an ambiance that seduces you to... More

The menu and food are like your neighborhood family restaurant (if it had a bar) but this neighborhood is nestled alongside the beautiful Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway, Polaris, Montana with hot springs and rustic cabins. Plenty of locals blend with tourists, visitors. Don't be in a rush, this is neither fast food nor elegant food -- just darn good fresh... More
