Montana's popular ski area features the "Paradise," a three-mile long scenic trail, and the "Grizzly," which drops skiers 2,000 vertical feet through steep terrain. Beginners will find slim pickings, but the pros will have a blast with the numerous...more
Snowbowl is a great mountain for both skiing and off-season mountain biking. The terrain is challenging and fun for many ability levels. The people running their operations are also awesome! Whether tackling the slopes or enjoying the great atmosphere at the Last Run afterwards, our...More
Missoula Snowbowl is great in the winter for skiing, but in the summer, we love to go to hike and pick huckleberries. Sometimes we take the chairlift to the top and hike down and other times we hike from the bottom. There are a ton...More
I've skied here a couple time and have always enjoyed myself. It has terrain for all skill levels and some snowboard areas for you to enjoy. The prices are reasonable and rentals in good shape. I found the staff courteous and lift lines were almost...More

Hi me again - I guess I have a lot to say! Snowbowl is also open in the summer (not till June I think)which is one of my favorite summertime things to do. You can take the chairlift up and hike around or use one of their diggler scooters or bring your own mountain bike (ADVANCED only). The Inn is open at the base for delicious brick oven pizza and mountain views. August - pick your own huckleberries up top.
