A visit to Missoula is not complete without hiking the "M." There is a nice little garden and restroom at the base and the trail is nicely maintained with benches should you need to stop and catch your breath or just take in the views along each switch back. I'm always amazed at all the changes on campus and in... More

Visited the Recreation Center and it was very nice. Had a great weight room with everything you need to workout. Also had an area to rent tubes or other items to have a float in the river nearby. Not a great deal of restaurants very close, at least ones I saw. The campus overall was very clean and nice to... More

Great for hanging out, Frisbee football, climbing to the M on Mount Sentinel and also catching our favorite program, Shakespeare in the Park in August!

Walked there to see the art collection; unfortunately it was closed but it was still lovely to simply stroll around. Bonus fact for fellow Deadheads: Adams Field House, now rebranded as the Adams Centre on campus is the place where the Grateful Dead played their only ever concert in Montana (in 1974).

The University of Montana has a beautiful campus that has things for everyone to enjoy. A giant oval with a Bear that represents the Grizzlies is in the center of the campus and there is a clock tower there. There are lush green lawns for those that want to sit and study or just to enjoy. The hillside has a... More

For the more adventurous, walk to the M. If you aren't into it, visiting the campus is a nice trip. Bring your camera as there are great shots of the old school administration building, the M and the grizzly.

University of Montana campus is a great relaxing walk. Very nice architecture. Make sure you hike up the adjoining "mountain" to the "M" visible across the valley.

The University of Montana used to be an outstanding institution of higher learning with a distinguished faculty, but severe budget cuts and multiple recent rapes on campus reflect a very risky environment for all young students.

Very wonderful event with terrific choices in speakers and production of the graduation. Really appreciated the intimate grad ceremonies after the 'main event' with J K Simmons as guest speaker. Great choice and very touching and memorable speech.
