the 4 of us friends booked a half day guided tour with northwest Montana adventures and it literally blew all of us away. Traveling from PA we’ve seen hills and some mountains but nothing like the views here. We got the guide by the name Hatter and he was the best , super fun guy and very knowledgeable. I can’t say enough great things about him, he truly made it an experience i will never forget.

We booked a sunset tour with another company and wanted more. The next day we booked a half day with Northwest Montana Adventures. It was a PRIVATE half day tour! This is important so as a group you can get what you want out of the tour without having to wait for others. We had a desire to ride fast, when able, and we were able to accomplish that on this tour. We met Cameron, signed some paperwork, got our orientation to the machines and went on our way. This trip exceeded ALL our expectations and was so much better than the one the day before. We rode for 34 miles, up and over the mountains. We saw views of the lakes, snow ghosts, rode on some frozen lakes and so much more. Cameron checked on us throughout the tour and provided guidance as needed. We stopped at the yurt for hot cider and to warm up by the fire before heading back. Words can’t describe how beautiful the scenery was and how much fun we had! I don’t think I stopped smiling! I can’t recommend Cameron and team enough and 100% will be booking again!

This is something totally out of the ordinary for the whole family. Whether you ride the sled alone or carry a passenger, it will be an unforgettable experience for everyone. Cameron and his team were very helpful in explaining the days activities, how the sleds work, the proper attire (which they provide) and answer any questions....all to make sure you are totally comfortable with what you are about to undertake. If you are new to snowmobiling, I suggest the 4 hour tour. It goes by quickly, but your body will thank you the next day! This will end up being an annual event for my friends and family.

We did an afternoon guided half day snowmobile tour with 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5-13. Cameron, our guide, was wonderful and patient to stop for photos, show us the ropes and the incredible Montana scenery. Would recommend this tour!

My wife and I last week booked a snowmobile excursion thinking it’s done like maybe in the northeast . We are from South Carolina so not exactly pros at it. We got Cameron for our guide . One word WOW ! Money well spent . Our personal guided ride with Cameron was almost 4 hours and 45 miles climbing to a elevation of 7,300 ft . The winter scape changed so drastically as we climbed the mountain from their office . Scenery was spectacular and truly got camera can’t capture what your eyes see. Surprising we were not sore the next day but it is a worthwhile tiring experience. I’ve done snowmobile trips in NH but none like this for the beauty , the climb in elevation and the length of time you are gone . Enjoyable little stop at the yert with the nice looking out house. Be sure you if your a woman don’t drink much fluids beforehand this is the only bathroom break available fur guys it’s much easier . The landscape was so varied and different as we climbed up and the routes you travel on are not some fixed touristy path. Cameron gets you out there on the real deal snowmobile paths . Quite a adventure, Cameron is a great fun guy to get to know and chat along our stops . If you want to experience a real snowmobile ride , this is the place to go.
