Whatever "benefits" that are found in the water are not worth it when being exposed to this entire facility. I do realize their location is in a fairly remote part of the state but be prepared for an "earthy" experience if you elect to visit. Their locker rooms are nothing short of a disaster and unclean in appearance and these... More

Symes Hotel, in Hot Springs MT, is an old (c. 1920's) restorative spa - the rooms are clean, spare, and the furniture has a certain "grandma-house" charm, since most of the rooms still have furniture from 1950 or earlier. The (outdoor) pools are cleaned on Tuesday nights - water in the pools is cleanest on Wednesdays. If you want to... More

This is the most popular option in town to soak and the water if good. If you're into socializing while you soak with both locals and tourists, you will like it here. We visited a couple of times, and the 2nd time the water was getting a bit questionable. Lots of people and maybe a few days since cleaning. Still,... More

I cannot sing enough praises about this place! First, the water: it is the BEST in the state I believe (having visited nearly every commercial hot spring in Montana). There are four pools of varying temps that appeal to all ages and body temperatures as well as private claw-foot tubs where you can get the water to just how you... More

They clean the big pool on weds, so thurs is the best day to soak if you want to share as few skin cells as possible with other people. The water tends to turn greenish in all the pools by Sunday (yuck). I don't really recommend a hotel stay because the beds are uncomfortable and the staff questionable, but the... More

It is definitely a very dated hotel. Everything is old and well used, and everything is saturated with sulphur smell, but don't miss out. My buddy and I visited here after doing the Spartan Beast race and we're happy we did. It middle of a small town, an hour away from Kalispell, we found a place to relax our tired... More

Absolutely loved it! We spent two nights at this hotel...if you are looking for the Ritz ( or Wingate ) this one is NOT for you! Family style run hotel...you do know that you are in a hotel that was built in the 1930's . The hot spring pool was as amazing as the private bath tubs I was soaking... More

the hotel is nothing grand, but functional. the beds are old, walls are thin, pretty run down actually - but go for the water. The water is amazing. 3 pools, each with a different temperature. YOu will only see 2, but ask about the hottest pool. The water also comes into the tubs. Very eccentric, hippy type place. There is... More

Always enjoy going for a swim. It doesnt matter if its busy or dead its always fun and friendly. The inside rooms and kinda small but you dont visit to stay in your room. If you are coming with your family I.suggest getting a cabin or apartment. Its historic so it's kinda loud at night at times. But love the... More

This place could use some work, pretty run down, not a good impression at first. The cabin was at least clean. The water was exceptional, but getting to it was muddy and pretty messy. Would I go back again. Sorry I wouldn't, I needed more for the experience, not just the water.😔
