Welcome to Broadwater Hot Springs & Fitness, Helena's only mineral hot springs. Located in the mountains 10 minutes from downtown Helena. We hope to inspire you with what we offer here and invite you to stop by and visit us for a relaxing and refreshing soak. Come enjoy big sky country with a poolside beverage from our taproom and grill. We take great pride in our geothermal hot springs water and look forward to meeting you.

Signing in and up is NOT user friendly. You have to be tech savvy and have a smart phone or device in order to even sign up and go. Additionally, you have to sign up as a “member” for 5$ ahead of time (on top of the $15 dollars fee to get in, even for kids). So no going there on a whim. If there are technical issues like a password issue, technology issue, glitch in the system, there isn’t another way. The front desk staff basically tells you ‘tough luck’.The people working don’t have authority to be helpful, and they just mimic what they’re told.. so you can’t be upset at them for doing their job. It’s the way the place is ran and managed. The customer is clearly not who they care about when you go there, and people can feel it. Pool is usually murky.. “ people soup” anyways. I would go there more if I was given the feeling like my service was valued, but it’s not, so I don’t. Recently went there and tried to meet other people there. That day, they couldn’t keep their hot pools hot. You would think they would provide a discount. They weren’t offering 100% of their services, so compensating for that financially would make sense, but nope. The people we were meeting ended up walking out due to this issue. I have friends from out of town who would visit the broadwater when they come to Helena but don’t because of how expensive it is with the additional $5 membership fee.

This was a wonderful experience! Membership was $5.00 and it was easy to sign up for ahead of time. Membership is good for a year! We went on a Friday at noon and it was not crowded at all. The pools were so relaxing and clean. The poolside drink service was very efficient. The locker room was clean. Can’t wait to visit again!

We travelled from Canada and a night to spend in Helena. We had a nice dinner downtown and thought we would go spend an hour or two soaking in the hot springs as my son had stopping at a hit springs on his top 5 things to do during this vacation. When I looked it up the cost it said $10 person I was hoping there would be a child rate when we got there but if not thought we would splurge a bit as 40us (52 CDN) is fairly steep for a soak. When we got there we were informed due to covid that you had to be a member and pay $5 per person (As if this extra cost is going to prevent covid) this brought the cost to $60US (80 CDN) which is outrageous and we would never us the membership again. This is just a cash grab using covid as an excuse and way to keep tourists, especially families away. I have been to many hot springs in Canada and will support them before ever coming back to Helena. I had two very disappointed children who had there heart set on going but in today's economy I refused to pay the extra costs. They could at least have a family rate/and should not be charging children membership fees.

This place is a rip off. First, they charge you $5 per person to become a member. After that, it's $15 per person to go in the pools. Only after we paid all that, did they tell us they did not provide towels! I told them that would have been nice to know before we paid for soaking. One of the clerk's said in a very nasty tone, "We can sell you a towel for 7 bucks!" We asked for our money back. They gave us the $15 per person, but said they couldn't refund our membership because it was through a third party. Never going again!

The server here at the "grill" was really bad. It was a very disappointing experience, because once the food came out it was (in the words of the server) "tasty this, tasty that" when in fact, none of the food was all that great. The fish tacos were bland and tasted like cardboard, the chili tasted like it came straight from a can, and the server just basically dumped everything on the table and left. There was live music by an excellent band, too bad they couldn't be heard indoors, since the stage was outside and it was snowing. The sound was supposed to be piped inside but it couldn't be heard. The ONLY saving grace to this place was the bartender who was kind and brought me a cup of coffee. I have absolutely zero interest in returning to this place.

Disgusting
This is so gross. They do not empty/refill their pools. FULL of piles of skin on the bottom of the pools, mast water that if you look down, you cannot even see your legs. They charge an outrageous amount of money for this and the locker rooms have CARPET!!!!’ The whole place smells like someone pulled a sweaty gym sock over your head. So gross. I’ve been to a lot of hot springs and this one is by far the nastiest. Expensive, dirty, strict, and always too busy

RIPOFF! I was charged a mandatory $15 annual fee but do not live in Helena. $15 per person in addition. Also have to give all your info online which I did not want to do & it was time consuming. I pd $60 for the 3 of us to stay for 1/2 hour & it was crowded (Covid factory). I should have left but my daughter would have been disappointed. GO ELSEWHERE!

Very rude front desk staff, severely lacking in customer service! The pools are not very clean. AND they charge full price plus the $5 membership for even my 6 month old. Total rip off and not worth the 45 min soak.

Their prices change and aren’t clearly stated. We came out last Wednesday 5/19 and paid $30. Thinking what a great deal what was we came back on Sunday and spent $60. Next time we will just spend the money on a hotel room. Service was rude like usual.

I loved the atmosphere at Broadwater Hot Springs. We visited right before closing time on a Monday, and barely anyone else was around using the pools so we were able to enjoy the small, hotter pool. Unfortunately it was a bit windyt, and I forgot to bring a beanie. I would love to return to this location and see how it looks after their remodeling.
