I have visited several places in Montana that offer bags of pebbles you can sift through searching for sapphires. This one is the very best. We took our friend there so she could experience doing something distinctly of the beaten path and really fun. It...More
This is a great spot to take out of town visitors or children. The staff will help you with everything and show you what to look for in your precious gravel. Everyone always finds something; often real treasures. The ride out and the scenery there...More
I took my kids and their cousins out there while on a trip to Helena for a Family Reuinion. I got the $75 bag for them to share. I think they each came away with maybe one or two sapphires, none of them big enough...More

My son and I had a great day picking through our rocks, we even found several rough sapphirestart and garnets! The staff was friendly and informative about the history of the area and how to effectively go through our rock dig. Will definitely go back!
