OK -- I did graduate from Helena High school MANY years ago, but never climbed to the "H" in all the years I lived there. I moved away in 1975, and my first real climb was in 2016 -- and regret that I never did...More

Good Dog friendly spot to hike. If your visiting town this is a good spot close to town to go for a quick hike. 3 mile round trip from the parking lot.

Lovely quaint town with a historic past. Make sure to stop by Steve's for breakfast! The Capital is a must. Beautiful architecture and detail inside.

If you're asking me if you can use your wheelchair or a scooter or motorized chair to climb Mt. Helena, the answer is no. But, there are many streets that will take you up to the base of the mountain. You just need to look... More

The hiking trail on mount Helena is a gravel path, in one or two places a little rocky and steep so whilst I am not a wheelchair user I would think it is not accessible to wheelchairs. The trailhead car park still affords... More
