I love being able to exercise out of the gym. The rivers edge is loaded with scenery. Great to be outdoors where you can walk, run, or bike. I see a lot of fishing when I hit the trails. Evening time is awesome. Picnic sites...More

I ride the trail for 20 miles during the summer. It follows the river and is breath taking. Nobody should miss this trail. It's very long and they keep adding to it. You can even roller blade it.

The best river walk in the State of Montana.!!!'! I cannot say enough good things about the RET. You will get a “wide-open” country feeling.

Always drive along the river when in Great Falls. Many times stop to picnic, watch the geese, walk our dog, visit the park. Nice hotels and restaurants also along the river. Relax, enjoy boating and fishing, go to the falls, imagine Lewis and Clark passing...More

The trail runs parallel to the Missouri River from the park in Great Falls, so not too hilly. Ride about 12 miles round-trip and see two dams and their accompanying falls.

55 miles of trail around the Missouri River and Great Falls ~ all privately funded and always accepting donations for maintenance! Best trail in Montana! Bike, walk, run or rollerblade!

Stopped here during a long road trip to get out and walk. It does not have any shade. It was in the nineties and was super hot, but we enjoyed being able to stretch our legs a few miles. Good informative placards tell the history...More

Running along the Missouri River Trail System is a real joy. The trail system is well marked and covers both sides of the river. For some reason, not all water fountains were operational.
