The city has f one a great job installing this concrete walkway all along the river for wslking, jogging, and biking. If I lived here, I'd use it a lot. Pleasant to walk and see views of the river and dams. A readily available brochure shows all the walks and distances.

There were lots of dog walkers. We only had 30 min before dark, so we drove on the adjacent road. There were great views of the river.

The Rivers Edge Trail is great for walking, jogging or biking. There are a lot of things that you will see that you normally wouldn't see from the street. The city does an excellent job in maintaining the River's Edge Trail. Great Way to see the Missouri River and all the wildlife.

This paved trail extends for over 6 miles along the Missouri River. There are many wonderful overlooks to see the river, the dams and the waterfalls. There is a great dog park along the way and several picnic areas. The trail continues unpaved for several miles, but I did not bike that. It is great to be close to this... More

Visiting Great Falls for the first time in the summer we were looking for an activity to amuse the family (2 adults, 16 & 12 year old) for a few hours. Came across mountain biking & the trail and decided to go for it. Hired bikes from knicker biker (great service) & cycled 2 minutes down to Gibson Park to... More

Walk, run or ride this trail. Can take you to the dam or farther down the trail you will the fish Hatchery . It is a mostly flat trail. Have enjoyed every time we have been down. You make the jaunt as long or short as you want. Water fountains along the trail.

We rented bikes from the downtown store, Knicker Biker and then rode to Lewis and Clark Interpertive Center about 5 miles away. We chose to remain on the paved path, but you do have the option to ride on a narrower, gravel path closer to the river for at least part, if not all the trip. The ride was easy... More

The best views of the Missouri River and the dams are from this trail. Plenty of places to stop and rest. Only negative, no restrooms along the way.

This trail was started over 28 years ago and is now over 50 miles long. You can get on the trail at Crooked Falls and walk all the way to Broadwater Bay, 7 miles. We park one car there and walk to the other car at Broadwater Bay. Many more miles to walk on the trail if you want to

Walk/run/bike/skate along the Missouri River and see some of the falls that stopped Lewis and Clarks explorations.
