My husband and I hired Kody from Park's fly shop for half a day of fly fishing on Yellowstone River. We wanted an adventure and Kody provided it! He guided us on a section of the Yellowstone, and even though the height of tourist season, we were the only ones there. Kody taught us new techniques and we had a lot of fun catching a variety of fish species. I totally recommend Park's fly shop for supplies and for a satisfying guided fly fishing trip! Good selection of flies and fishing supplies with some knowledge of what to use. Opens too late if you need something in the morning before fishing and closes too early if you need something in the evening after fishing all day. Hard to catch them open if you fish all day and start early. Have gone here for last 6 years while fishing Yellowstone. Was disappointed to find out there best guide left this year but I was able to find him elsewhere. The two young guys in the shop are friendly and helpful but the shop has lost a lot without ole Wilson and now Ben. Would go somewhere else for flies if there was a choice but they still have good flies. Also the building is in desperate need of a remodel. Same review as before. Just keeps getting more run down and poorly managed. Good young guides learning more every year.

Walter “Wally” took us down Yankee Jim Canyon and punished the Cutthroat! He’s a real pro and taught us us how to fish the Yellowstone!!! Awesome guide and we’ll be back next year. Thanks Wally for a phenomenal trip! David & Renee Smith

My family, including two teenaged boys, love to fish on the fly! And when I explained to Walter what we were looking for, he planned the most special experience ever. We wanted the boys to catch trout, and boy, did they ever! And Walter managed to bring us through some whitewater as an added treat for my guys. This trip with these two experienced, pleasant, talented men was a highlight of our summer vacation. Thanks again, gentlemen!
