We are a small tour company that specializes in wildlife sightings in northern Yellowstone. Our specialty is wolf and bear watching and all of our guides are experienced wildlife biologists who are also very personable. We have been in business over 10 years, and consistently provide a very fun and memorable outing in the park.

We wanted to ensure that we saw all of the wildlife we could in our 2 days in North Yellowstone and were so glad that we booked this private accompanied tour with Wolf Tracker Tours. Linda, our guide, tailored both days to what we wanted to see. In our case, we guess we were very touristy in saying ‘Wolves and... More

Delightful people with years of knowledge about Yellowstone. They shared many stories and so much information about the animals in the park. So organized it seemed effortless. Top notch scopes for viewing. I was satisfied with not seeing wolves all day and then It was thrilling to have the chance to just observe a pack of wolves doing their wolf... More

My husband and I booked a tour with Leo. I honestly had no idea what to expect and hoped I would at least see one interesting animal, since you never know what you will get. We seriously scored! We saw a pack of wolves (I believe they were the Butte pack) which is one of the larger packs, chasing a... More

Wolf Tracker was a welcome find. If you are keen on wildlife viewing then these guys are at the top level of their trade. Especially helpful if you have a limited number of days up your sleeve and want to maximize your viewing experience. We went on a private guide tour with Evan, who was very good, full of information... More

My husband and I went went with Yellowstone Wolf Tracker's Fall program this year for our anniversary. We cannot overstate how much we enjoyed it! Both of us are avid fans of wildlife and wolves, in particular and we were really looking forward to the trip. They warn you not to expect to see wolves or bears as it's not... More

If you are “wild about wildlife” then I enthusiastically recommend sharing a day afield with the Yellowstone Wolf Trackers. My wife and I just returned after a wonderful visit to Yellowstone and the absolute high point of our trip was the 6 ½ hours we spent (October 13) with Leo Leckie (our guide) watching wolves hunting elk. My on-line research... More

We went out for 2 days with Bonnie in October looking for Yellowstone's animals. She brought us to a lookout where we heard and saw wolf packs howling to one another across nearby mountaintops. It was awesome! We saw herds of eld, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and of course hundreds of Bison. We were fed very well and kept safe... More

We arrived in Lamar Valley before dawn, and met our guide Bonnie, and immediately she had us smiling. We proceeded, over the next seven hours, to explore what felt like almost every corner of Yellowstone, on the hunt for wolves and grizzlies. We ended up seeing two packs that day, the Wapiti Lake Pack (which we saw track some elk,... More

Magical... our tour with Yellowstone Wolf Tracker was literally a wish come true for our family. Our youngest daughter was granted her wish to see wild wolves from the Make a Wish Foundation. We were truly blessed when they connected us with Michael from Wolf Tracker. He made our visit to the park amazing. His kindness, knowledge, and boundless energy... More

Well, where do I begin? From the very start via e mail with Michael, the booking of our two day wolf tracker tour was dealt with very professionally and in such a friendly, helpful way. We were on a relatively tight schedule as myself and three family members were on a road trip, taking in Yellowstone for a few days... More
