Great trip on the Yellowstone Rivsr with Talia! She was an excellent navigator and shared lots of interesting anecdotes with us. If you are looking for an efficient and low key rafting trip this is your place!

This is our 3rd year using Flying Pig for fly fishing guide services. These guys are great. Besides putting the adults on fish, they work extremely well with the kids too and have them all hooked. (pun intended)

We did the 1-hr float trip from Chico Hot Springs. The Yellowstone river is so beautiful, as are the mountain views. Our guide was personable, friendly and courteous. He did not offer any comments at all about the area or the wildlife, which was surprising...More

I booked with Flying Pig because I loved the story of how the company got it's name. I wasn't disappointed. In fact it exceeded my expectations! My nieces, age 15 and 17, and my granddaughter, age 8, all had a spectacular time! The entire staff...More

As I recall their prices for all their packages are on their website. I also remember that for some reason it was easier to search their website on a desktop computer rather than a tablet or mobile device.

A Wonderful Yellowstone and Grand Teton Trip -- Day 8 (8 Replies)
This is the last "real" day of the trip, as the next morning I would drive from West Yellowstone to Jackson for my return flight to Tampa. Drove to Gardiner for a wildlife safari with the Flying Pig Adventure Company. Brought along some bakery products I had purchased at the Book Peddler the day before. Imagine driving through Yellowstone at 5 o'clock in the morning, being basically the only vehicle on the road. It is pitch black, other than the light of a full moon in the sky. You pass...More

2 days for first-timer (solo traveler) in May to YNP... (3 Replies)
Hey y'all, Any help you can give me would be great. I am a late 20's very physically fit solo female traveler. I have a lot of experience horseback riding, hiking, and have done some rafting. I will have two full days and nights in YNP, and while I realize that is not nearly enough time, it's all I've got! So, any suggestions would be great. I plan to stay somewhere around Gardiner, not sure whether I am going to camp, do hotel, or what. So suggestions on good lodging options under $100...More

Hi Veganlilly Yellowstone is an awesome NP and it's BIG. If you want to see just a part of the park you'll need at least to days driving and do hikes at the must see places. And I think visiting GT is too ambitous, although this park is a hikers Mecca. Gardiner makes a good location re your drive to Bozeman. Have a great trip! Tet
