Celebrating all things Yellowstone, the Flying Pig Adventure Company makes...

Celebrating all things Yellowstone, the Flying Pig Adventure Company makes planning a vacation to Yellowstone easy. One call and you can set up anything from a quick float down the river to a complete vacation that includes lodging and an awesome activity package. Our activities include White water or Scenic Rafting, Horseback Rides, Fly Fishing, Park Tours and even shopping at our Camp Store. Above all else, we are best known for our friendly staff and excellent customer service. We love sharing the adventures of the Yellowstone area with our guests...And it shows!

Many years ago, the Flying Pig got its start with whitewater rafting, and that is still the premier event today. Thousands of people have enjoyed our 8 Mile, 18 Mile and Overnight Rafting Trips on the Yellowstone River. We have awesome guides and our own private river access. In addition to whitewater trips, we also offer scenic floats for those who want to sit back, relax and soak in the views. Looking for a true Montana experience at a horse ranch? The Flying Pig offers horseback rides at a beautiful privately-owned alpine ranch just a few miles above town. The fun continues inside Yellowstone Park with Park Tours and Fly Fishing. In fact, we can take you fishing in some of the best trout rivers and streams in North America.

We have also expanded to a second store location at 204 Park Street in Gardiner, where we offer a full complement of camping, hiking, fishing and apparel. Looking to experience Yellowstone first hand? Want to try something new? Give us a call and we will work with you to find just the right adventure. We encourage everyone to get out there and challenge themselves by doing something they never thought they'd do....To let their Pigs Fly!

My husband and I went on the half day walk and wade with Buddy this past July. It was a great time. He picked us up at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and we drove 5 minutes down the road to the river. We both caught trout and practiced a lot of casting. The shop is close if you are staying... More

My husband and I had originally booked the Saddle/Paddle experience. The river was closed down due to health issues for the fish in the area. We decided to do the all day tour of Yellowstone. Our guide was Josiah, and he was amazing! We met at 8 a.m. for a full day of exploring. Josiah was very knowledgeable and ask... More

My wife and I booked a guided fly-fishing trip with The Flying Pig about 6 weeks before our September trip to Yellowstone N.P. One of the first noticeable attributes of our experience was the communication from the pig. A confirmation email, and a phone call from one of the guides quickly followed my booking. In the days leading up to... More

3 of us spent a full day with Ryan at Flying Pig Adventure fly fishing in September 2016. One of us was experienced and two of us were not. Ryan gave great instruction and was very patient with us. He is extremely knowledgeable about the park, so not only did we catch fish, but we learned a lot about the... More

We booked a one hour horseback ride for the entire family and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. The ranch is beautiful and it is located high in the mountains next to Gallatin National Forest. Our guide, Amy, was great with the kids and answered all of our questions throughout the ride. We would highly recommend this experience.

Visited yellowstone in early August 2016. I had heard that the Yellowstone River was low and that fishing not great in early August. But if you get the Flying Pig fishing guides YOU WILL CATCH FISH! Took my 16 yr old nephew and 14 yr old son. We were all newbies to fly fishing. Guides were very patient and taught... More

I booked a last minute, 1 hour horseback ride through Flying Pig while my travel companion booked a float/rapids trip. I can't speak to the rafting trip other than I was told I should have gone. Back story, nearly drowned after being flipped out of the raft in Colorado several years ago. Give me a horse any day. I was... More

NPS unexpectedly shut down the Yellowstone River to rafting, but we were fortunate to schedule a fly fishing trip instead. The Pig staff was great through the entire process and hooked us up with an awesome guide, Brogan. Our day's fishing was a ton of fun. We hiked to some crazy beautiful fishing spots and caught lots of fish. My... More

We have never been fly fishing before and wanted to try something new. Buddy was not only super nice, but so helpful and patience with all of us "newbies". Buddy has such a nice vibe about him and made our experience a lot of fun, educational and just awesome! thanks Flying Pig!
